I know a guy who can bring in quality players and the problem is this season he brought in too many imo and trying to keep them all happy was impossible but that was then up to the sporting director and president to say no u don’t need them we have enough but as I said earlier if they want to spend spend spend that their prerogative

There’s no job there anyway but if he was in charge of the Talbot with the backing and support they have no club would get near them imo

I’m confirming the guys that came to darvel not one was on more than £40 per week but good try

When he came his budget wasn’t huge and remember he brought loads from Colville park , these guys came to darvel for next to no wages , I’d like to think he came because we had the same vision , unfortunately when I left imo the budget got out of hand but if the men in charge want to spend it then that’s their decision

Mate I’m saying he never mentioned money once and refused to take a penny in wages , let me know if that’s normal practise

There is every chance of that but as of yet he’s no taken the job ,that’s fact

Im Goin to tell u something , I met him About 9 times before he eventually said yes to the job , money was never mentioned and when he took the job I asked him how much he wanted per week as he could have named his figure , his answer Uve convinced me to come I don’t want a penny and hasn’t took a penny in wages , he just loves football

Listen the guys we’re getting paid good dough but he needs to sell the project , of that he was brilliant at it

Ur always saying u need new players but I suggest u mean good new players , there is no one like him with his connections and forget all the silly stuff about £400-£500 pw , he can get top players for half of that which is what Talbot pay their top players

Absolute load of nonsense , away and read my messages Andy from when I brought him In and u always laughed , I’d say the job he done down there from winning the championship to winning the premiership and that never to be forgotten night against Aberdeen was an outstanding effort as it’s ok having money but u need the right players and character to buy into what he wants to achieve , I’ve just spoken to him and he’s gutted about this season but that’s just the guy he is , a born winner who will success wherever he gos

Beith are also a very young side , they have experience with Steg , frizer and Carlo but that team with a couple of additions could be very hard to Beat in years to come , Chris and kev have done some job

Read what I said he’s good at what he does but wouldn’t get close to being in wos team of the year , there are plenty better than him imo

Imo over the years Tucker has only had to bring 1 or 2 in every season and they always seemed to blend in well but that team does need an overhaul and I’m no so sure Tucker is the guy to bring that amount in to build a new Talbot but I don’t watch them week in week out and obviously his trophy haul Over the years gives him credit in the bank , what is the census of opinion up there ? ps u said big Neil was best central defender in the league , he’s a great defender and good at what he does but he’s no in same class as those 2 playing with beith tonight
