  1. The chat in the pub tonight was that GJ wanted/wants to resign Riordan but after discussion with the DOF and Board he won't get his wish to sign him, JJ thinks he is bad news. , if true that's a bit rich after signing a sex offender. The writing is on the wall for the present manager if he doesn't get a win next week against Berwick Rangers.
  2. What ever happened with Riordan, looked like he was doing well and getting goals and assists when he came in last season, take it City have found a better player to replace him.
  3. I won't be back, shame on the board and the manager, this was obviously a Jefferies signing and the board backed it and he (sex offender) has been forced on the manager and squad, imo he was being signed no matter what anyone said that is involved at the club, that includes the supporters. The manager should have had a serious look at himself and thought what might this do to the morale of his squad and more importantly his job, if results don't start improving pretty soon he could find himself out of work, and I'll take a hunch and say if that was to happen then Jefferies will take over from GJ.
  4. It's all gone Pete Tong since the signing of the sex offender.
  5. Can't see many Hibs fans coming to watch City.
  6. The Anchor, Ferry Boat, 10-15 minute walk if you make it out alive. Take it the supporters club at Lochend has closed down since City have moved to Ainslie Park.
  7. A kick in the teeth to the victims and family of the young girls.
  8. Cheers for that mate, My thoughts are the club have made a massive mistake in making this signing and it will backfire big time, the club think it will all blow over once they start winning games, what if they don't and child groomer is having a shocker in games due to the barrage of abuse he will get at every game, here's a wee thought, where will City be training through the week, if it is down in Pilton/Spartans, then a good chance some of the locals who have booked a pitch on training nights might just think to have words with him, recipe for disaster. Not a worry for me now though, I won't be back.
  9. My profile gives that away, poppy thieves didn't suit the story.
  10. Here's hoping bud, maybe City have realised what kind of bad publicity would come with a signing of a player who groomed young girls and the affect it could have on the club and fans.
  11. And he breached his conditions only a couple of years ago that seen him appear in court in 2016 for the offence, can't find out what the punishment was for him breaching his conditions though, possibility he had his 5 year extended or maybe just fined, Not the type of person you would want around a family club like City though, or any club for that matter, he groomed kids FFS,
  12. He is training with City with the view to signing with them. Why have City kept it quiet that he has been training with the club.
  13. How long is he on the sex offenders register for, 5 - 10 years or life. 2016 would suggest longer than 5 years from his conviction of grooming young girls, minors, the guys a f***ing beast and should be nowhere near signing for City.
  14. The then yam manager said this about paedo boy. Manager Jim Jefferies left Thomson behind when the first-team squad flew to a pre-season camp in Italy at the weekend The 60 year-old, in his second spell in charge at Tynecastle, is renowned as a players' manager and has a reputation for creating a good atmosphere in his dressing rooms. He has been repulsed by Thomson’s behaviour, however, and can’t imagine how the player’s inclusion in any Hearts starting XI would have anything other than a negative impact on the team. “I knew what the reaction would be and he can’t have any complaints because it was a bad, bad thing he did: one of the worst things it’s possible to do,” said Jefferies. “He has made a grave error. It’s the ultimate taboo. It makes your heart sink. You don’t want your club to be associated with not just this but anything like it. “You accept as a manager you’ll have to deal with problems along the road but I have to be honest and say I’ve never felt like this. “We can’t allow it to become a bit of a sideshow which gets out of hand. I think he would be going into something he has never been prepared for. He might find it will be tough for him from now on.” Lets hope City's Sporting Director (Jim Jefferies) still has the same thoughts about him.
  15. This story would suggest he is still on the sex offenders register and still a threat. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/disgraced-ex-hearts-player-craig-7172479
  16. Looks like they aren't listening to you, I enjoyed watching City last season and intended to be back this season with the Grandkids for more of the same, that won't be happening anymore, not while a known child groomer is playing for City. Have the people running City really thought this through properly, what a huge mistake it will be for the club.
  17. This 30th of the month nonsense is a load of crap, if his contract is at a end he can sign for anyone now.
  18. If he was any good why haven't other clubs tried to sign him, simple, he is a wrong un, groomed kids and not a club will touch him because of the bad publicity that would coming with signing a known paedo, City would be mad to have anything to do with him, and how would it go down with the City players, not very well would be my guess, I doubt many of the players would be keen to have him in the team.
  19. Lewis Allan possibly signing for City on a permanent deal, been released by Hibs.
