With the greatest respect to the rest of the league, it should have been won with games to spare. It should have been won with even more games to spare if we're being honest. And yes, Raith have done well but the amount of times we fucked up ourselves is the reason it's taken this long to clinch it.

The thought of a third pitch invasion for winning the Pola Cola League of Fun whilst having a monstrous budget compared to every other team should give everyone involved a full body minter. Wind really does batter plants more than most realise. Especially cold winds. Maybe some horticultural fleece or as TxRover says, a clear bin liner would do the job. Just watch for the sun early morning burning the leaves if there's any condensation from the bin liner.

It's cold wind damage. The damaged leaves will eventually fall off but Olives really don't like cold winds. Bring it out during the days but I'd move it back indoors at night for a couple more weeks certainly, even till mid May if its still chilly at nights.

Interest is not always a good thing. See the Thompson Family and the Ogren Family! The people being talked about have done well at their respective clubs but while it is possible to make money up here it would be very very difficult to make anything worth shouting about ( Unless you unearth the next Gauld, Robbo era). That won't happen until the English leagues finally burst. Which won't happen either. So we'll either be part of some tax dodge, a millionaire's plaything they'll get bored with sinking money into eventially or, hopefully, someone serious who really fancies a long term challenge. If you can't make money down south in English football then you're probably not capable of thinking.

No disrespect to Arbroath but I expect a minimum of a 4-0 demolition to be handed out to them tomorrow. And that's just the first half. Anything less and Jim can gtf. Other than that, I quite like Arbroath and hope they stay up.

Anything less than a win is a bad result. I don't mean to disrespect Morton by any means. If its a draw or a win for them then they'll most likely deserve it. But we simply have to win here. I fucking hate United these days.

Unless we go on a winning run from now till the end of the season, swatting everyone aside with 3-0 wins all over the place then I'm not convinced we should keep him. Huge budget, biggest in the league by miles Poor performances Totally bottles the big games Out the cups pronto. Signings don't play too much of a part as 90% of managers usually bring in about the same amount of rubbish as good players. Unless it's Csaba levels of scattergun signings. Utilising the squad and in game management does matter and there's many a time I've been left not a clue what he's trying to do or achieve, others he's done well. If things are going well, hes fine, as are most managers. If he has to win a tactical battle or turn things round then he's usually left wanting. Imo if its as close as "just" getting us up then he does not deserve a chance. The bigger problem is the bunch picking his successor though. Thinking about it, it shows what an absolute lottery Football Management is. Long story short, when up against teams with similar or bigger budgets and squads, will he do better or worse than he is doing now? And that's if we even get there! I'm unconvinced.

If possible, when they've finished flowering and the leaves begin to die off, I'd reccomend you dig down a spade depth, chuck a good few inches of gravel in the trench and backfill the soil mixed with some sharp sand to help the drainage then replant the bulbs. Will help raise the level too if that's also what you're going for. I've got tulips in a large raised be that's basically 5 inches of gravel and then 3 inches of sandy gravel underneath a sand, soil and leaf mold mix and they come up amazingly well. I launch some fertiliser in there regularly as it washes through pretty quickly though!
