I didn't think we would have 2000 fans in the ground including away fans as soon as this Saturday. I might have changed my plans this weekend had I known sooner. But its brilliant to see.
At first I was a bit underwhelmed, what with the restricted crowd, no catering, masks etc. But by the end when we were spreading the ball about nicely it really was fantastic being back in the old place again. Tantalisingly close to normality.
Seems strange that people are having different experiences. Maybe the browser used is having an effect. I'm using Internet Explorer which worked fine.
This reminds me of the first time we all went streaming to Somerset
Sorry to hear of John Sludden's death. I remember as a 14 year old during the 1987/88 season he ran up to me and pretty much screamed in my face after a goal. I just about wet myself!
Also, this may have been covered in P&B elsewhere but last Saturday Jason Leitch was on Off The Ball and his suggestion was that away fans would not be allowed in initially. However that may be him spouting on the spot guff which isn't exactly hard to imagine.
Josh Todd speaks well in the interview but I was flummoxed by his accent! Couldn't quite place it then found out he was born in Carlisle so that kind of explained it. He comes across as a decent person to have in the dressing room.
great thanks. Even with the proceeds of the half time draw I am better off by two fillings but worse off by £103!
Not sure what I'll spend tonight's winnings on. Botox perhaps?
As someone who loves a pre and post match bevvy I'm not overly bothered about when the Somerset Hub opens. Actually getting onto the terracing again after 17 months or so remains the overriding priority.
