I scored Darryl Gurney v Dean Winstanley at the Scottish Open a couple of years ago. Was first round so a pretty bad draw for both. Hadn't heard of either at the time as both relatively unknown and got a surprise when they both started hitting loads of 180s! Gurney won and went on to beat Dave Chisnell later in the session. Didn't realise he had switched over to the PDC.

This is a ridiculously poor quality match! Enjoyable though.

Anderson v Hamilton match was a cracker. Hamilton's finishing was unbelievable. Was actually good to see Anderson back on top form despite getting beat, hopefully he can carry that form into the Players and WC.

That was pretty piss poor from the thorn. Gave the 1st set away then head just went down. You could say it had a bit of the Gary Anderson about it!

That was a great bull! Anderson was 200 ahead in leg and should have been home and dry though.

Was reading the Record article. So the plan by Green is that he will offer £8.5 million to buy the club, but if a CV doesnt go through he will reduce his offer by £3 million and pay £5.5 million for the assets. The BBC says it will be 20p/£. Thought the secured creditors and administrator fees would mean it is well below that figure even excluding the BTC.

So am I right in thinking that the Newco is going to get set up by the end of the season. SPL penalties wont come into affect until after the season and therefore no penalties for the newco. Or at least everything is at the discression of the SPL board. We know what they will do! If the SFA relax their punishment on appeal they a laughing!

Seriously, your favorite season is one in which we were really lucky to avoid relegation and had a team with players like Pressley, McCann, O'Brien, Cregg (when he was shit), Bullen, McNamara etc. The Cup runs were good but the team and the league performance was shocking and such a disappointment after the great season before.

I think they are out, check the PDC website. My brother has tickets for Manchester which I think is first up at the start of next month.

Surely there is good value in Hamilton's odds. 5/2 on Betfair. He has been the best player all tournament and to be honest Lewis hasnt been as good as last year! On Lewis' comments last night, I would say that Taylor is still the best player in the world at the moment, had a bad year generally but still no1 (Lewis has had a really poor year since the PL). Lewis and Wade are next.

Cant believe that. Whitlock threw the match away with missed doubles but fair play to Hamilton who was excellent. Gutted as I had £5 on Whitlock at 18-1. That means Hamilton will be in the Premier League also which I am not looking forward to.
