  1. Sometimes you have to go back to move forward, when Sinky was at the club most of the players were there for 4yrs,if we can keep half the team from this season and build for next season we will get there, bringing in a whole new team plus the management was a bridge too far, there will be light at the end of the tunnel but not in the short term
  2. Glad to see we kept the score down today 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  3. Probably because nobody goes to watch Newmains
  4. Cheers for that mucker It's going to be very hard for us this season, but we solder on
  5. He is kicking a man when he is down, now tgats not fair
  6. I could've put a team out that day full of my friends on the swally from the night before and took more from us [emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]

  8. Don't know if that one is true, taking most of the players from Larkhall Ammies,we got one the young lad Riddock,a few of the lads that played for the Ammies played for the Juniors in the past and they done well,e.g. Scott Nicol [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]we just have too keep going that's all we can do,by the way going by the sound of your comments are you are former player?
  9. The backing is always there for the club, the committee work hard and the supporters turn up at the home games, the problems I see are,why the management hasn't got in more experienced players to help the young lads,I think if we had a good spine through the team we wouldn't be shipping the goals that we have, also we can't be playing trialists week in week out,we should've had a more settled team by now, what are the reasons for this?Only the management can answer that
  10. We are all entitled to our opinions, and sometimes you have to think of the worst case scenario,we have been in situation before where we had 3 relegations in a row,so imo it's not really a problem
  11. The good thing for the young players is they are getting a chance to play at a good level, albeit we are getting pumped every week, they should be hungry enough to say bugger it,and just go out there and showcase their talents, apart from pride and embarrassment they have nothing too lose, and it should hold them in good stead for next season if they choose to hang around
  12. Listen we will not stay up this season, the committee are working as hard as they possibly can,it will be not a bad thing to go down and see where we are for next season, the new management team knew what they were taking on this season, so I doubt it very much if we sacked the gaffer somebody could do better, especially with the players at their disposal, the young players are working and playing as well as they can,but we are needing some experienced junior players in to help them,so I don't really know if the management team are addressing this, but time will tell
  13. Oh well another battering today,Saturday buggered as usual, but we all live in hope Mon the Jags
  14. We will,we have a very good committee, albeit people out there say they are dinosaurs, but they are hard working guys
  15. Cheers buddy,it's hard this year but we will survive Mon the Jags
  16. If we have to go down to turn it around, then that's what we will do, Big Sinky and the players from last season have too take a lot of credit for keeping us up,but it was a big ask this season this season with a brand new management team and players, but we will get there
  17. Well said big man,we at the Jags like to keep our business in house, unless other people like to squeal
  18. We will, and if we go down,we go down fighting ,and the biggest thing we can do is protect the famous name of the oldest junior club in Scotland
  19. That's what a lot of people don't understand, you guys put a helluva lot of work in to keep this famous club going, from work on the pitch to match day Saturdays, and do you complain no,you get on with it,you try to bring in sponsorship, run various events throughout the season to bring in funds to help the management, and you still get people saying you are old fashioned, what more you guys can do I certainly don't know
  20. Where we are finding it hard is when organising fundraisers,e.g. dances;sportsman dinners etc nobody wants to support it
  21. Maybe a lost count somewhere on that glorious summer night Cheers buddy
