I agree with the review. Although I quite enjoyed the ownership match, it was what it was. Only one thing I'll say is they slag off the ICW fans a bit, the type who hing aboot up the front and are all over the facebook pages are the exact same type you find at ANY British wrestling promotion. Are they slagging them off for attempting to attract casual non smarky eccentric fans?

Cup draw on Monday as well. I don't trust us to be comfortable in seeing off any team from the top two divisions, so hopefully one of the lowest remaining job squads at home.

After the latest bottle job, we've got a crunch game next week against one of the lower clubs where again because of our pathetic results against the big guns we've put a lot of pressure on ourselves to take something from games like this. What concerns me a bit too is after some good results the 3-5-2 has been found out and teams have adapted to it, so its back to the 4-2-3-1 we've stuck with from the McNamara days and hasn't really worked otherwise this season. Oh and we seen Christie Elliott as a forward player for 5 years or so, hes rotten rthere, he either plays wing back or doesn't play at all. After that its really difficult to see us staying up for me, even if we often have players who have individually good games. Our arse would fall out if we had a play off game. I really don't want to see that big dumplin Stuckmann again either.

Has the game died a death too? ICW has been like a lead balloon since the SECC show for many of the reasons you state, which just makes me feel negative as f**k about it at the moment. Can only hope the death of the ownership angle freshens things up, but with the pushes for utter shite like Lewis Girvan, talent leaving that isn't being replaced, and general scatty as f**k desperate booking (why was davey ever turned heel!?) it's hard to be optimistic just now.

That show was my first in months after living abroad and it was absolute HORSE SHIT. The matches were crap, finishes were shit, countless nonsensical finishes. There's a lot wrong with the roster just now in my eyes. Girvan is being pushed and he's dull as hell. Joe Coffey is another boring posh boy. Davey was made to look like an absolute jobber. The imports were rancid. Trent Seven fuckin sucks. Jackie Polo is a pathetic comedy act. Naturally as well guys like Dar are hard to replace. I left the SECC last year ranting and raving about what a good show that was and how the sky was the limit. It's been an absolute farce since. Don't know when I'll be back. If ever. Maybe I've grown out of wrestling, but even though I've not enjoyed the mainstream stuff for years, ICW I felt was different. It's dropped the ball big time. Be lucky to get half that in the hydro next year.

I see Davey is also a heel now. Tbf I don't know what the outcome of it has been so won't slaughter it, but my initial reaction is wit?! I can see some changes to the face/heel group after F&L. I'd like to see Kid Fite get a run as a face, but not sure that'll happen given Sha has just been turned, but down the line I'd like to see it. I think we could see someone play the Kurt Angle mole type figure from within the BL who will turn during the match and give Team Dallas the win.

Looking forward to the Hydro, despite not having been to a show for ages. I'm not really following it much just now but I am enjoying the build up that seems to be going on with Dallas' mob falling apart and the BL being cohesive. Looking forward to seeing the Dudleys and Kurt Angle in the flesh as well even if I've seen some wee geeky smarks on twitter and forums sneering at it. Lewis Girvan is baws though, more personality in a tin of emulsion. He needs to chop that mingin tash as well.

I'm not sure how I would feel about him leaving. Can't say I'd completely dread losing him but I wouldn't be so quick to let him walk either. The hassle and disruption of the manager leaving and a possible uber diddy replacement would fill me with fear though.

Don't see anything defensively from Barton myself. He was beaten for the header prior to the corner from the 1st goal and then the goal itself with a bit of urgency he could have easily made an attempt to attack it. For a big guy he doesn't play like it at all.
