  1. Yeah think that's very valid point RG. Budget is not going to allow us to bring somebody of that standard in as backup. Clark needs to step up as Mannus did when he only had the likes of Tuffey and Banks challenging him. His performance didn't falter.
  2. It certainly won't be a priority and I'd be amazed if we brought a keeper in unless there was an injury. In terms of other keepers in the league out with the OF then Lewis is obviously ahead of Clark. They've both left now but I'd have Hladky and Gillespie ahead of him comfortably too. The rest are much of a muchness/unknown quantities but doesn't mean we can't look to better the position. I can only comment from watching Clark regularly, no idea who United's keeper even is but hopefully of the same standard as last few we came up against.
  3. First choice. Like Radford I’ll give him another chance (no option but to really) but he was very poor last season. He’s not a young lad any more and personally don’t think he’s near the level of Mannus.
  4. We need a goalkeeper in my opinion but obviously that’s not going to happen.....
  5. Jenkinson scored in 1-0 win away to Airdrie, midweek game maybe a week before Christmas. Doubt there will be any footage of it!
  6. Neil McCann ruined Danny Griffin's career. Horrendous challenge on him at Tynecastle. Never recovered properly from it.
  7. Macca will sign a playing deal as well right? You know just in case.....
  8. Dodds and O'Boyle never played together. O'Boyle essentially replaced him when sold to Aberdeen. You are probably thinking of Dodds, Wright and Ian Ferguson who lined up together in that game at Raith, sure it was Dodds debut. There was lot of excitement about the three of them playing together. Game finished 1-1 with Gunni Torfarson getting late penalty equaliser. Home game against Hibs on the Saturday Dodds and Wright (I think) scored but Wright then got terrible injury which basically put him out for a year. We were ultimately relegated thanks to that moment.
  9. Missing a few others too: Killie at home and Hearts away at first glance.
  10. Our manager might be gone but good to see Dundee fans still don’t care about us. It’s reassuring.
  11. Me too Tam. Did you go to both games out of interest? I was only allowed to go to the first one......
  12. That was a magnificent Saints team to watch. George O’Boyle in that game, bloody hell. Jock Brown’s commentary is even a delight.
  13. That pass from McCann into May - my word. Pity May didn’t get a nick on it but utter class from McCann
  14. Lot of empty seats in the away end again. Embarrassing. Better than broken seats though I suppose.
  15. That's a fair point, got to say. I've always felt Steve is chairman because he feels he has to be due to his Dad, not because he wants to be. He's a PR disaster to be honest, the timing of all this is inexplicable.
  16. We need to spend the summer trying to sign a half decent goalkeeper to be honest.
  17. Genuine question here, assume unlimited capacity for home fans and ticket prices reduced to a fiver; how many Saints fans would go?
  18. Think he is referring to the young troops keeping the ball behind the goal on Saturday Valentino.......
  19. Crowd looked bigger than that to me but guess I’m just not used to terracing. Looked ropey as in opening stages but thankfully settled. Looked a straight red to me, very rash. Cracking atmosphere, Inverness at home next please.
