  1. Our manager might be gone but good to see Dundee fans still don’t care about us. It’s reassuring.
  2. Me too Tam. Did you go to both games out of interest? I was only allowed to go to the first one......
  3. That was a magnificent Saints team to watch. George O’Boyle in that game, bloody hell. Jock Brown’s commentary is even a delight.
  4. That pass from McCann into May - my word. Pity May didn’t get a nick on it but utter class from McCann
  5. Lot of empty seats in the away end again. Embarrassing. Better than broken seats though I suppose.
  6. That's a fair point, got to say. I've always felt Steve is chairman because he feels he has to be due to his Dad, not because he wants to be. He's a PR disaster to be honest, the timing of all this is inexplicable.
  7. We need to spend the summer trying to sign a half decent goalkeeper to be honest.
  8. Genuine question here, assume unlimited capacity for home fans and ticket prices reduced to a fiver; how many Saints fans would go?
  9. Think he is referring to the young troops keeping the ball behind the goal on Saturday Valentino.......
  10. Crowd looked bigger than that to me but guess I’m just not used to terracing. Looked ropey as in opening stages but thankfully settled. Looked a straight red to me, very rash. Cracking atmosphere, Inverness at home next please.
  11. It was Don McVicar, remember it well! Couple of sending offs as well am sure.
  12. That rings a bell Paulo, pretty sure it was a 2-1 win anyway. Beating the Bankies pretty rare in those days, lost pretty heavily in the other two games that season. Ken fucking Eadie.
  13. Harry Curran scored first goal at McDiarmid did he not against Clydebank? Possibly first Saints goal as they maybe went one nil up in that game. Jim Gallacher in goals for them. Sure sign of old age when you’ve now watched his son retire from football!
  14. Fair enough. I think some folk will look for any reason not to go, forgetting that the primary reason to go is to watch their team, simple as that.
  15. Probably unique here but I’ll go to a St Johnstone game if I can because I support them. Sometimes I cannae go. Sometimes it’s pish. But I’ll still go as supporting them is the hand I’ve been dealt. There’s little logic to it at times but there we go. Breaking oot the craft beer on the Astro isn’t going to make any fucking difference to me.
  16. Celtic didn’t even sell out their allocation, good few empty seats. Pretty embarrassing to be honest.
  17. FFS, aye I’ve made an arse of that! Blame the elation of a win!
