  1. This wee tool in n-dubz really is a laughable wee dork, although the girl in the group has champion knockers. I believe he's Greek - as if you didnt have enough reasons to laugh at the wee fud.
  2. Folk trying to punt you stuff (insurance, mobile phone contracts, etc etc) at the entrance and exit to the supermarket. I'm just trying to buy some super cool, smooth, get you slaughtered beers to sit in the sun with, I dont need you muppets giving me a gauntlet to run. Go away. Why do supermarkets (a Morrisons in this case) allow these folk to do this, as it just irritiates everyone. grrrr.
  3. Round Strathclyde park again late this afternoon / early evening. Went really well. Had a cold for the last week and a half and was afraid the progress I was making would have fell away, but the time improved. Felt good. I could actually feel the pace improved and the movement a lot better. Onwards and upwards.
  4. Just ran round Stathclyde park in what the BBC weather says is 35 Mph wind ('Strong Gale' on the beufort scale, apparently). That was massively unpleasant. dont think Ill do that again! My time was also shocking. Could hardly breathe running into the wind and on the way back the trees along the side of the loch sheltered me from getting blown along. Doh. Absolute torture.
  5. Indeed. After a few days working away down south, I return to Glasgow last night only to be greeted by a bunch of these arseholes with their usual 'whit you looking at, ya dobber' nonsense. Seemed to irk them that I ignored them. Thats twice in a row now that Ive arrived back in the city centre to be greeted by these scum (although last time it was an aggresive beggar). This is the sort of thing that greets folk on visits to Glasgow. Probably the most annoying thing was the wee twat that made the comment was clearly only saying it as he was with another 4 or 5 neds. A wee specky joe 90 bag of bones he was. I genuinely felt like keeping them in view and as soon as he moved away from his mates, catching up with him and wiping the fecking floor with him, but I suppose that would not make me much better than him. Grrrrrrr. Neds.
  6. Sort of related to the gav-ffc/WAAD posts about folk standing in stupid places Folks that get in your way when out running. Was at Strathclyde park yesterday and there was all sorts of Sponsored walks and organised dog walks going on. Stupid wobblebottom b*****ds walking three abreast across the full width of the path with their ipods on, totally oblivious to the backup of runners/cyclists behind them. Arseholes.
  7. You looked a bit bemused when I beeped at you coming home from work the other day in Kingston, with a perfect "who the hell was that?" look.
  8. GC Out. Twisted my knee yesterday , best lay off it a bit.
  9. Oh aye, Lettuce too. Will try that with the Garlic then.
  10. Dug over a patch about 6 feet by 6 feet in December and dug some compost into it. Last week we bought Garlic (need to get that out pronto), Carrots, Spuds, leeks, onions and parsley. Lets see how it goes. Also have some more mulch to dig in. Smallest childs idea, but somehow yours truly eneded up doing the slog.
  11. The fact that my kids seem to be trying to make me lose the rag!
  12. I think only some Livi fans would say no. There clearly is a problem if the Chairman is 'brining the money with him' from Italy, whatever that entails.
  13. To be fair, they have been screwed about something silly and I'm sure the media went to them. They also said strike was an option - not that they were gonna do it, having considered what happened to Accies.
  14. Surely there is a huge risk here with the briefcase - he seems a slippery character and the case may find its way elsewhere. I can just see him now, on a park bench in a secret agent style swap of breifcases - his loaded with cash and the other loaded with Mamma's special spaghetti.
  15. Yep, much much better. It ended up a 4 goal difference at the end, but thats as big as the gap got. Enjoyed that, despite being on the losing team.
  16. Glasgow P&B fives are weird. It always ends up one side getting a total pummelling. Snow up the sides made it a bit daft at times.
