Here's something that really rips my knittin' Driving up the motorway to work, very early in the morning, reasonably quiet road : 2 Articulated lorries, one overtaking, or should I say trying to overtake the other, takes literally 4/5 miles to do it. Now I don't know who's worse, the muppet overtaking the other at about 5 metres per minute faster than the other, or the guy being overtaken, who could at least lay off the gas a touch and let him pass, but no, they both go full pelt and end up in a stand off, creating a muckle tailback behind them. Selfish b*****ds. And how many times have you seen this happen and mid way through the manouvre they hit a hill and the guy trying the overtake gets slowed down and ends up falling back again, leaving everyone at square one, but 4 miles down the road. Knights of the raod? Total bawsacks more like.

Just watched it down the pub. Never thought I'd see the day a scottish pub (even more so a Weegie pub) would all be glued to the TVs and over the moon when he won. Gonzalez had totally lost the plot temper wise at 5-1 down in the last set an there was only gonna be one winner. Looks like he'll get the 7th seed in the quarter final. A real test. Good luck. Horrible thing to say : Old folk in supermarkets. Get your purse out of your bag BEFORE the checkout operator asks for the money. Don't stand there hunting about for 5 minutes it once he/she asks. Another thing is stopping in masses of wrinkles and white hair in the middle of the Ailse and tutting at anyone who has the temerity to try and get by. Also Agnes, try remembering your 5p off camp coffee coupon before you complete the transaction you dodering pain in the rear end. I actually make a point of picking the check out queue with no old folk in it. I know we'll all be old at one point, but I'm sure I'll at least be a bit more considerate for other people who have limited time to get the chore done. Old folk : should be shot at birth.
