    My thinking exactly

I’ve lost hope in Eze. We all know he was Coyle’s man as they worked together in India but there’s been far too many games where he’s been found wanting. He’s had two or three games where he was 9/10 but most of the others, you’d be giving 2 or 3/10. For a massive guy in height, the amount of times he loses a header is mental. Poor positional sense and the fear I get when someone is running at him 1 v 1 is horrifying. I don’t buy Coyle’s excuse that he’s still not 100% in match sharpness. He’s had plenty of games now

Thankfully we have Charlie Fox back from injury, where’s he’s been out the last 2 months. Easily the best defender at the club, terrific player. Should be a simple straight swap but I’m convinced the excellent Lee Kilday will be the victim in Fox’s return so Coyle can prove a point on Eze

Jack Thomson for me has been my player of the year so far and tonight I thought he was excellent again. I honestly feel like teams will be after him next summer, he’s got it all. It just didn’t click in the final third unfortunately but these games happen.

Unless Eze is dropped, that could be the difference in us finishing in the top 4 or finishing somewhere like 7th or even 8th.

See Bannon is getting the blame for their first goal, the ball only got as far as Bannon and Scully because a 6'6" centre back can't jump and let the ball go over his head.

    Totally agree.

Not to mention the money wasted on pouring all the concrete to extend that stand only to remove it all again to build the directors box.

I'm sure we could have still moved the changing rooms to their new position in front of the pavilion, built the hospitality suite in the same place, and incorporated director/sponsor seating within a decent West stand.

You could then still have the East stand as is for increased capacity.

Unfortunately it's been a shambles from start to finish.

Think you might find, that the quality of the concrete poured by the original contractor, was why the club fell out with them, and that is why all that they laid has been demolised. The west stand will be I feel extended after the end of this season, as H+S rules will not allow work to be done while we are playing there.

Is Scotty Williamson injured or fell out of favour with the gaffer? Surely he was a better option off the bench than Kenny.

The game was getting more physical and Dundee were piling on the pressure. Scott can put himself about far better than Kenny as a lone striker. He's so young and lightweight (not his fault) that Dundee won everything in that last 10 minute spell.

Very confused at that one to be honest.

You have got it right, under the circumstances of them having 2 big centre backs, who would have kicked their grannie to get the ball Williamson would have been a far better bet. Kenny is on of the 3 monkeys that OC has on his back, that I have mentioned before, as he is frightened not to play him in case it upsets Celtic.

Eze - no idea what rules apply for him. Coyle sounds like his agent when he talks about him. Looks like he was the one playing the late goal onside last night. Or will we blame Bannon again?

Davidson has been dropped. So far down, Naismith, Boateng D, Bannon have all taken his spot.

No comparison at all on what Robson has brought to the team against Ferrie’s contribution. Just crazy talk.

The guy needs a rest. Time for a reboot. Every player does. He’s a good shot stopper but often parries back into a danger area. The fumble I mentioned earlier did end up at Dundee feet and a shot off the bar. Had it been two howlers leading to goals would that have still been allowable?

Play Heraghty at Cove and see how both keepers react to it. Heraghty needs the time too.

Your comment about Davidson being dropped before these others is 100% correct and 100% wrong from OC. The lad can play RB/CH and Midfield and has never let us down.

Worth pointing out that I emailed the club about becoming a member twice last year, once in July and again in October. I'm still waiting on a reply.

That is disgracefull. E-mail again and address it to Greame Shields, who I believe is the membership secretary, ask him to send you a membership form and then Keith McAlistair will help you sort things out, I think.

Was QP in the Community not just a part of QPFC Limited? Don’t recall it being a separate legal entity?

The 75% was mentioned but I don’t see that recorded in the Articles. Nevertheless, regardless of the threshold it would take a mountain of changes to align the 1903 Articles (with a few amendments) to be amended to where the club is currently operating, formally or practically. Hence my earlier comment about winding it up and starting again. It would be the end of the committee/member organisation at the stroke of a pen.

If only we had some kind of forum, behind closed doors, where we could discuss this with the office-bearers formally and recorded.

Could you not discuss at your next AGM, whenever that will be.

First and foremost the officials were honking. Linesman missed the worlds clearest handball from Arbroath on the side where QP fans are and Queen's had a couple dubious decisions go our way. O'Brien should not have ended the match on the park and it looked a stonewall penalty to me also. Par for the course for Beaton however, that clown will get absolutely riddied by VAR.

Nonetheless, it does feel like 2 points lost. Thought our formation change was a positive and  our midfield wasnt as bypassed as much as recently. Feel for Bannon, i thought he had a good game otherwise and it's that naivety he'll learn from in time.

You say Johnny Kenny, i say Conor McBride 2.0.

OC is still caring those three monkeys on his back, as I have said before, the big centre back, the Celtic player and the Rangers player none of them are good enough for this level and he is frightened to upset Celtic and Rangers by not playing them, and he has built up the big number 66, so much, he cannot lose face by not playing him. While Bannon is carrying the can for their goal, as BYOS has rightly commented on, it was nunber 66 who was out of position that caused their goal and Bannon's mistake.

Gaston is one of the best goalkeepers in Scotland and the reason he is not playing in the Premier League, is that he has a very good job and does not want to go fulltime. Lucky Arbroath.

They didn’t stink the place out to the extent of some others, but I don’t think anyone’s contribution was worthy of praise. Certainly not for the 59 minutes of it that I endured anyway! 😀

Some fan you are walking out on your team with 30 minutes to go. At least the Rangers fans last night waited until 15 mins to go.

You were not the only one missing our game in Ayr.From my seat in the back row of the stand sitting close to Greame Shields, the only people in the directors box from QP were WH and Gary T and his son. No President, no Treasurer, no ex Treasurer, no the one they call the Doc, and indeed nobody else from the Committee that I could perceive, yet they will expect use to turn up on Friday night at Stenny to support our team, and yes I will be there, but where were they all on Saturday.

The guys that I have mentioned are the ones whose names spring easily to mind and I have just remembered two others, who I did not see at Ayr, that pal of Greame's, Gregor and that past President Gerry.Cannot remember the other guys names but did not notice them in the box either.

We may have been bad yesterday, but to think Grant Gillespie would of inspired the midfield is wild. If only he inspired the midfield at any point throughout league 1, he wouldn’t of been released without fuss

From previous comments you never liked him, but ask yourself what has changed him. Was it just a desire to get one over on QP or has Mr Imrie seen something in him that OC did not. He even scored a goal yesterday and it was not a penalty.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to my kids who took me to Tenement Trail for my birthday yesterday, meaning I enjoyed a great day of beer & live music and preventing me going to Ayr.

We were absolutely disgusting today. Hoaching at the back, toothless upfront. Coyle apologised to the fans at full time but that's not enough. He has a lot of work to do before what is now a massive game against Arbroath on Friday night to stop the rot and restore the feel good factor.

Ayr fully deserved it today. Like Morton on Tuesday, had more fight in the middle of the park and just wanted it more in general. Two really poor games for Grant Savoury in a row now, if we're going to be so reliant on him playing well all season we're going to struggle. Today was absolutely not entirely on him, but just a point I think is worth raising.

In the last three games our midfield has been bullied out if the game by thhe opposition and we were lucky to beat Raith. Our manager has to get three monkeys of his back. Number one our number 66, who he praised to the heavens when signing him and getting a work permit for him and it turns out he is not vey good. Number 2, a player on loan from Rangers who flatters to deceive and because he is from Rangers he does not want to upset them by not playing him. Number 3, a player on loan from Celtic who is the better of the three but is still not good enough for this league and again he does not want to upset Celtic by not playing him. On the tactics side, we have gone from 4-3-3 to 4-2-2 and lost out in midfield, where we play nice football, but have no dig and yet a player that we released is captain of Morton and has been inspiring them from midfield as we all saw recently.

The proles aren’t permitted to be sufficiently mournful enough to cease wealth production during the week, but are afforded this luxury during their rest from toil. Thank you, Your Majesty. Thank you, Neil Doncaster.

Nothing against the late Queen, but to cancel all games is a wee bit over the top. A minutes silence before KO would have been just fine.

Now every club is looking to try and fit in a mid-week game. Crazy.

Yeah, noticed they had a team pic taken on the legendery turf when they ran out.😀 Never seen that before.

You should be honoured to sit in that Archibald Leitch classic.

    Ungrateful chunt.

He had an absolute shocker the whole game, at the pen I thought he was booking Robinson for diving, gave them everything, horrendous tackle on Rudden, and no booking, hope he's ok.

    Thank you.

Your righ,t he had a very bad game, if that was a penalty our man should have been sent off and your No22 had at least 6 fouls in the first half and was not spoken to once, never mind being cautioned. By the way he is a very good player and I wish he had been playing for us.

It's not even suitable for Championship football imo. We might just get away with it in this division when the capacity goes to 1,500 but I think that no supporter at this level should be locked out from seeing their team, home or away. Going initially with the one stand (and with the games not even being streamed) means that some weeks some away fans are going to miss out. Maybe even home fans if our local support starts to grow. That's shite imo

Surely the club are going to build a new west stand in front of the new Directors stand which would hold at least 1,000 QP fans, which would then give us a capacity of 2,500, then if we get promotion again sometime, there is space at the north side to build a stand holding at least 1,500 giving us 4,000 seats.

The club got a written apology from the SFA/SPFL whichever the correct body is to apologise for the penalty being given, as it shouldn't have been due to the rules posted above. While the ball very obviously struck his arm, it was in no way intentional and therefore shouldn't have been given.

    Source: Charlie Fox himself 😂

It was the SFA Referees Department. It was the Asst/Ref who wrongly gave it and the Referee should have overuled him. Milner is a great example for this type of thing.

Was up at Braehead the other day. Pleasantly surprised to see large advertising posters of a couple of QP players in the windows of the Scott's store. I expect their other Scottish stores have the same. Certainly seem to be doing their bit to promote the team.

Didn't know they had a store in Braehead, thought they were only in the Fort shopping centre. Good to know.

On another note, the need for some sort of temporary seating at Lesser has never been more obvious than last night. Our section was certainly oversubscribed and some away fans in the end sections.

I have no issue with fans getting it up us from their own end or, in exceptional circumstances, the field of play, but away fans jumping up in the home end is asking for bother. There’s an obvious risk for that next Saturday. Away fans who can’t sit are going to need to be accommodated in a separate section, but I suppose you can’t really segregate that.

Don’t know whether it’s maybe best for away fans requiring seats to contact the club direct and make necessary arrangements, but there should be a zero tolerance on random away punters or there is inevitably going to be trouble in the heat of the moment.

Not sure what the situation is with standing up the other end? I’ve seen it happen at Stenny games but unclear as to whether it’s available for us.

Away fans should not be in the stand, in this league, at Stenny. If section 5 is meant for away fans, then they must be under very close observation and if misbebaving must be put out of the ground. This of course will need the Police to do this and would only be a small cost compared to the other money being spent by the club.

Not impressed by the substitutions, and to be kind to number 66 he might have been training on his own but he is quite clearly not match fit, should never have been on the park. The Rangers boy  flatters to deceive.

Who you go two up front with Murray and leave out a midfielder? They linked up well together when he came on v Forfar. I certainly wouldn't leave out any of Savoury, McPake or Thomas (who had his best game so far at Inverness)

Exciting times though with so many different attacking options.

Exciting times ok, heard a whisper our big new centre back is signing today.

If they are, any chance they could pick me up from Battlefield on the way up? Our club is only running a bus for season ticket holders, which they seem to have forgotten not everyone who wants to go to games is in a position to buy.

If you have a ticket for he game the bus is now open to all, not just members and season ticket holders.

Not buying it! Blatant deflection to avoid a midsummer review by the committee/CEO. If Mr Coyle wants to get close with the fans he should encourage his seniors to come out of their cave.

Agree whole heartedly. Wonder if OC knows that the club are charging £95 for kids, against Partick Thistle's £30.
