Absolute hysterical knicker wetting over the Ebbo stuff on here, and quite clear a large volume of this forum have never been involved in the game at any level. He lost the rag in the heat of the moment due to being goaded and watching Stranraer players celebrating like the world cup. Oh my god he gave the home fans who gave the Clyde dugout abuse for 90 minutes the vicky, lock him up and throw the key away!  It happens, people blow off steam during these things, they aren't thinking rationally during these moments, been there and seen it myself, every single person I know who has played or been involved with football teams has acted this way at one time or another in a similar situation. I have seen words, arguments, hands raised to full all out brawls on pitches, dressing rooms etc. Its an emotional game, god forbid people don't act like robots. It'll all blow over, go and away cos its absolutely fucking nothing.

Previous applications were dependent partly on satisfactory soil samples and ground investigative work being carried out.

Who the hell would want a house that close to a football ground, particularly if the pipe-dream of an artificial surface happened and the stadium was in use all week long.

I've seen it suggested that it's because there will be some ground work being carried out in relation to soil samples/bore holes relating to the proposed property development.

If thats the case then the club needs to come out and say that.

    Nothing would surprise me.

The Council haven't approved any development yet though?

Another example of the shambolic nature of DFC right now.

Matchday info post goes live on the website about 45 minutes ago advising that there will be limited disabled parking only on the stadium footprint and warning fans that cars causing an obstruction to the residents would be removed. 30 minutes later and they've changed it to parking available on site for £3.

This is probably a minor complaint if things were otherwise running well, but it points to a complete lack of professionalism from the club, It's not a typo. It's not parking £30 instead of £3. It's not the club twitter praising a player for taking a hard shit from outside the box that the keeper lets slip through his hands. When the info was posted initially? There was no on site parking for fans. Now? £3 as it was on Saturday.

So what changed? Why did we go from parking on Saturday to no parking tonight? And then back to parking tonight?

It's not a typo. So what is it?

I'm probably being a grumpy git, and I don't really care all that much tbh, but the season's going down the pan and we're pissing about like this. Just feels like it confirms the view that no one at the club's that bothered. I'm fully aware most folk wouldn't share this view and would say there's nothing wrong with the players enjoying themselves.

Doesn't bother me tbh, they'll be back training in a day or so.

Probably as close to a Title Party as they'll get.

  6. I think Spartans will get at least a point, if not all 3, unless their form has really dipped, in that case we will draw again and Stevie Ranieri will say we were unlucky, on another day - that's a win for us, can't fault the boys at all, this is the business-end of the season and we are gearing up for the play-offs.

It would be good if we could get some answers regarding the new sponsor that has suddenly appeared on the tops. In the past we have allowed the owners to use our kits as free sponsorship without them ever paying up. It would’ve been nice to a least have a couple of sentences on the website when this new mysterious sponsor appeared for the big televised Rangers game to reassure supporters. The sponsor has remained, as has the radio silence from the chairman (lol) regarding details around who the sponsors even are and how long it’s for.

A familiar name in there, based in Chester too lol

I noticed something last week at Stenny which was quite instructive.  For more than an hour the home support was pretty quiet whilst we were quiet vocal.  When the goal went in and then leading to and on the final whistle the GIRFUY from the home fans was very evident (and quite entitled), which suggests that apart from them winning the game we are still held as a scalp worth taking.

It's a minor tragedy that we likely won't begin to live up to that reputation until at least after May 2025.

Looking at our fellow League 2 inmates I think we are the club to have most recently played a couple of League's higher.

It feels like a distant memory sadly.

It wasn't a Saturday but based on that Stirling away game I was actually quite excited for the Annan play off game. Not so much in that I was expecting a result or anything but just because it was a playoff, if we get a result in the first leg who knows what can happen etc. Got the stream set up and was looking forward to seeing what we could do. I should've known better I know...

One of the worst viewing experiences ever, it was embarrassing how easily Annan had us figured out.

Does anyone remember a time when you’d wake up on a Saturday excited for our game? Nope, me neither.

The 2-2 away at Stirling Albion last season was possibly the last time I got up & thought this should be a good game, it was, great crowd too.

I'd probably need to go back to when we were in the Championship, looking forward to competing & putting Hibs, Dundee Utd, Hamilton etc to the sword at The Rock tbh though.

    *sigh*
