That's the reason why I would never go to a gig at Braehead and thankfully bands that I like don't play there. I worked at a few gigs there though and it was a €unt of a place to get home from! Don't see why they would hold gigs there then not have some sort of public transport running afterwards.

Someone on Facebook just posted that the Airbourne London gig tomorrow night has been cancelled. Hopefully not the whole tour is being cancelled or I will have three gigs in three days cancelled!

Yep. Really gutted as I was looking forward to it. Have Airbourne on Saturday night which kinda cushions the blow but still gutted! Bought tickets for MCR in Feb too.

I understand that but if I phone up and say that I don't need it, then they should be able to offer it to someone else. Just annoying that they are taking £70 off me and I am going nowhere near their hotel and they aren't doing anything for me. Can't seem to justify that!

Pissed off. Can't get my money back on a hotel room even though I don't need it and it isn't my fault I don't need it (booked for a gig which was cancelled as the singer took ill). Why do hotels have such rules? Paying £70 for a room I am not even gonna sleep in? What a fucking joke. Can't even amend it so I can use it for another date.

They are brilliant. Only heard about them when they got announced to play at Download last year. Have been trying to get more people into them as they aren't very well known in the UK (huge in Scandanavia and mainland Europe, selling out arena tours) but haven't been too successful so far. Hopefully once the tour is over more people will give them a listen and they will grow over here.

Volbeat on Thursday and Friday, Airbourne on Saturday and Bullet For My Valentine a week on Thursday :D

Have tickets to see Volbeat in Newcastle next Thursday and Glasgow the next day, and they have cancelled the first week of their tour (which was meant to start tonight) as the singer has taken unwell. Hope things will be OK for next Thursday!!

Always feeling tired no matter how many hours sleep you get. I can sleep for 5 hours, 8 hours or 10 hours and I am still shattered when I wake up. Suppose not working and sitting around the house bored all day doesn't help.

Fed up with Christmas adverts already. Not even December and I'm sick of it already! Only another month and a bit to go

Not a huge fan of SOAD but love the stuff that gets played on the music channels so would def think about going to see them live just for the fun of it!

Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time. Been listening to them almost constantly since they announced their UK tour last week!

I hate them, they are twats. What I want to know is, when there isn't a presale for gigs - how do these tossers always manage to get their hands on tickets before genuine fans? It happens all the time. I wish eBay would do something about them as what they are doing is clearly illegal and they should be locked up.

Raging at the prices though - £10.50 for booking fee and postage? How can they justify £5.25 for someone printing the ticket, sticking it in an envelope and posting it? Beyond a joke now.

Iron Maiden Presales - GLASGOW ABERDEEN

33 hours till I can get my Maiden ticket!

Aye but that was the only one that answered the phone. I tried a few other ones first and they just rang out!

Fecking taxis. At a friends last night and phoned for a taxi home around 3:30am and they said a car would be there ASAP. Half an hour later nothing had arrived, so waited another 10 mins before phoning up to see what the story was. Rang twice, heard a clicking sound and a voice saying "the other person has hung up". Tried again another five times with the same outcome. Tried a few other local taxi firms with no luck. Had to stay there till 8am before getting a bus. Chunts.

For anyone on o2, there will be a o2 Blueroom presale for Glasgow, Aberdeen and all other dates for Iron Maiden at 9am next Thursday morning

The online only section of the fan club is only a tenner and will get you into the presale. I might do that instead of paying 40 quid for the full subscription.

Public sale is next Saturday - hopefully someone can get a pre sale link before then!

I have seen them nine times since 2006! - 2006 - Download Festival, Iron Maiden support @ SECC 2007 - headlining gig @ Carling Academy, The Black Crusade w/ Machine Head @ SECC 2008 - Unholy Alliance w/ Slayer @ Carling Academy, headlining gig @ Fat Sams 2009 - Download Festival 2010 - headlining gig @ Inverness Ironworks, headlining gig @ Barrowlands I have seen a lot of bands live, but nothing beats a Trivium gig IMHO. Can't wait for the new album next year and for them to tour again!
