I thought Heavens Basement were alright. Madina Lake were pish though. Papa Roach were great and TBH they were better than I thought they would have been. I was also impressed with the sing-along to Duality before Papa Roach came on! Bowling For Soup is the next gig for me next Saturday.

Not technically a gig, but I have bought tickets to see Dara O'Briain in Edinburgh next March.

I'll be there aswell. Should be a great night.

I'm starting a part time course at Paisley Uni tomorrow morning. It's only one day a week and it's mainly home studying which isn't ideal, but it's something to do and to add to my CV! B)

October is always a good month for gigs. Or a bad month if you look at it financially!

Machine Head, Evile and Airbourne, but funds are a bit tight at the moment!

Ya bassa, I was first to moan about not getting tickets on this thread. I should be getting first dibs on tickets!

It's the fact that Joe Public never seem to get a look in when buying tickets but yet the arseholes who are only there to make a quick buck manage to get their hands on tickets that gets me. How does that work? Are there people working inside the ticket companies who take them before the go on sale so that they can sell them? Or do the touts hack into the site early?

I never got as far as the payment details page, just the select area bit. I dunno why it kept saying there a 2 tickets available, yet when I clicked on the area I got a message saying they can no longer offer tickets in that area. So I clicked back and clicked again for tickets, and it had the same area on offer. Ticket Soup is bollox, they should have used TicketMaster cos at least they have a reliable website 99% of the time. All four gigs are now officially sold out, in 48 minutes. Suppose I can have a look on eBay to see which lucky bugger managed to buy some tickets.

How the f**k did you manage that? Every ticket option I click says they have no tickets left for that area! I am only looking for 2 so if they have 4 available for one area then they should have 2. b*****ds.

Being online before 9am to try and get Billy Connolly tickets, and the website being down already due to a high number of people.

Considering applying to do Management, Technology and Enterprise at Caley Uni in September but I haven't applied yet and I dunno if it's too late to do so now. I am going to see some-one at my college about it on Wednesday. B)

Next gig for me is Faith No More/Slipknot/Def Leppard at Download Festival, Donington on 12th/13th/14th June.

Went to Black Stone Cherry at the Barrowlands last night, not the best gig I have ever been to although it would have been hard to follow Trivium at Dundee last Tuesday! Next gig for me, Metallica in March!

Off to Fat Sams in Dundee tonight to see Trivium. Should be fooking awesome - an amazing live act in an intimate venue!

Trivium and Slayer at the Carling Academy in two weeks time. Also seeing Lee Evans at the SECC on Friday.

Metallica - Metal Militia

Going to see Bon Jovi at Hampden on Saturday and then Stone Gods at King Tuts on Monday. Other gigs this year are Queen + Paul Rodgers at the SECC and the o2 Arena in London (October 11th and 13th), and the Unholy Alliance featuring Slayer and Trivium at the SECC on November 3rd.

Sorry but I can only laugh at this post....
