Would rather Metallica did a short stadium tour than festivals. For pure selfish reasons would love them to play Hampden!

It’s obvious that they know they can’t just turn up and kill Negan so they are trying to kill all his Saviours first and then get Negan when he doesn’t have hundreds of people trying to protect him, it just seems so slow in getting there. I mean, he has been in that trailer with Gabriel since the end of the first episode, what are they doing in there? You’d think they would at least show them trying to escape while all the other nonsense is going on around them.

Think I'm just gonna Sky+ the rest of this season and then binge watch it when it's done. Can't get excited for it any more. Actually only remembered when I was leaving work this evening that it was on tonight.

Is that who that woman was that was with Morgan and Jesus? I was wondering where she came from. Also, what happened to the very annoying garbage people? They seem to have vanished again after it looking like they were going to play a big part in the beginning of the new season.

I agree. Feel like I’ve watched it for too long to chuck it now. The annoying thing is there seems to be no endgame in sight and they have completely forgotten about trying to find a cure to kill all the walkers and getting back to normal civilisation.

Some on my Facebook actually posted last night “OMG this is near the hotel we were staying at three months ago”. Could have been them.

I suppose they have to drag it out as they can’t really kill off Negan so soon in the season, but surely they can make it a bit more exciting? Despite the amount of gunfire in the new episode there was practically no tension and at no point was I thinking “what’s gonna happen next?” like I would right at the start of the show. Even the female who was in the charge of the wee group of Saviours getting killed by the walker was embarrassing as she made no attempt to push it away or kill it.

That’s literally how it started. There was no plan or anything. Just a bunch of Saviours cleaning their guns before Aaron etc show up and start shooting at them for the rest of the episode. Not sure who Carol and Ezekiel etc were chasing and what Rick and Daryl were doing either.

This show is going downhill fast. Everyone shooting at nothing was pathetic. Even the return of Morales didn’t bother me that much.

Thought the scene with Carl at the petrol (gas) station was kinda cool at it was the exact same scene, almost frame for frame, as Rick in the pilot episode where the shot the girl holding the teddy bear.

Still don’t understand how Maggie has been pregnant for about ten years now and she isn’t even showing. FFS even Judith had grown up and started school in that time.

I was lucky at Maiden as I got early entry through the fan club and was on the barrier Schedule has been posted for Thursday night. Two and a half hours between doors opening and Metallica so should be ok.

The ones who missed the start probably showed up about 15 minutes before Metallica were due to start. Weather permitting I’ll be there about 3pm so hopefully no issues for me

Was visiting a relative in Aberdeen a few years ago and on the train back to Glasgow the guy across from me fell asleep. He woke up when the train was at Montrose and realising that was his stop, jumped up and off the train in a hurry. He didn’t realise he had left his shopping behind. It was top gear too, trainers, jeans, tshirts and a cracker of a jacket. Sold it all to a mate. Easy £500.

It’s a strange one cos even though they are big enough to headline arenas here, they would be the perfect support act for Metallica or Maiden on an arena tour. Saying that, I still think my perfect gig would be Metallica - Volbeat - Trivium - Ghost. I would die if that tour ever happened over here!!

Only one support band unfortunately. Yeah was hoping for Volbeat too they would be much better support but America always seem to get better tours than we do

Anyone listen to Kvelertak? Checking them out on Spotify just now as they are supporting Metallica next week. Sound quite decent from what I’ve heard so far.

Agree with above. When we tried to get tickets we originally wanted Saints v Dolphins but they sold out right away so went for Ravens v Jaguars. Looking at the two games we ended up at the best game but it's a joke that we couldn't get tickets for the game we wanted at the time but they went back on sale a week before the game, and by then it's too late.

So you're at a festival when someone opens fire on the crowd. What do you do? Run? Hide? Of course not, you take out your mobile and start filming. Seriously these people get on my nerves so much. They deserve to be shot in the head. Morons.

Surely with 90% of the population being wiped out, it's gonna take a bit more than 15 years to get things back to normal...
