  1. I went to see Iron Maiden twice back in May and both times I was lucky enough to get on the barrier through their fan club. The gig in Glasgow was one of the best experiences of my life so far and took so many pics and a couple of videos that I look at almost every day to remind me of the gigs.
  2. There is a girl I work with that uses the word 'actual' when describing stuff - 'that's actual hilarious', 'that's actual scary', 'that's actual annoying'. Don't understand why people would talk like that...
  3. Not long now. Starting to get excited. Train to London Saturday morning and Ravens @ Jaguars on Sunday.
  4. Can't imagine listening to American Football on the radio would be much fun...
  5. I've started to follow Carolina, for no other reason apart from I always play as them on Madden - again for no reason whatsoever. I always found American Football kinda boring when I didn't actually have a team to support and I wasn't that all fussed who won games, but now I find it a bit more entertaining and I've started to take a bit more interest in it as I have a team I want to win!
  6. How do you rinse your mouth out afterwards? Use the hot water from the shower?
  7. The Dominos "order now for half time" advert before a live game on Sky is about to kick off. Dunno about anywhere else, but the Dominos near me take about 20 minutes to deliver. Who wants a pizza delivered half way through the first half?
  8. Another new Trivium song. New album out 20th October
  9. It was ready on Sunday. I don't think that the promoters for the Green Day fiasco will be getting any more gigs any time soon.
  10. Going to the Ravens - Jaguars game, looking forward to it as I've never been to a proper NFL game before (used to go and watch Claymores when they were around). I'm guessing the crowd at the game will be cool about wearing different teams jerseys and you won't get people having a go at you for wearing the jersey of a team they don't like?!?
  11. Greenock is in Inverclyde and has a PA (Paisley, Renfrewshire) postcode...
  12. I've had that happen to me too. Getting off the train at Glasgow Central en route to Greenock, and some guy walks up to me and says "don't you know that the Kilmarnock game is postponed?". I just shrugged my shoulders and kept walking. I've also had some very dirty looks from Celtic fans on match days when they spot my blue scarf. They seem to forget that there is more than one team in Scotland that play in blue.
  13. When you quickly want to check the Scottish football scores on Soccerbase and having to scroll for about three miles past the English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Portuguese (have I missed any?) games before getting to ours!
  14. Strange one. I just hope we are able to call him back at short notice as we are f**ked if Russell gets injured/suspended and we have no cover.
  15. It's strange cos when he was first appointed as Morton I (along with probably every other Morton supporter) wasn't best pleased. But he has been in charge for three full seasons now and we have progressed each year, from winning League One in his first season and finishing 5th and then 4th in the Championship. Going by that we "should" be looking at another Premiership Play Off position, but of course it's way to early to even consider this. It's a good time to be a Morton fan.
  16. Most fans would use common sense in this instance and turn up at 2 to avoid all that happening, but you will always get some fans who decide to leave it to the last minute (for whatever reason...) and then complain cos they miss the first ten minutes of the game. All this despite knowing for the last six weeks there was gonna be a balls up somewhere and it was never gonna go smoothly.
  17. Most of us usually do when the banter is decent. Decent banter > your banter.
  18. I was going to try and explain it to him, but he probably wouldn't understand.
