  1. Fiona Bruce needs to understand her role is that of a Chairperson, which is to encourage a free exchange of views and to ensure everyone has a say. She is not there to aggressively interview the politicians on the panel and ignore the others.
  2. The way the BBC (free from advertising) takes about 5 minutes advertising its own product between programmes. Annoying and - when you think about it - unfair!
  3. Damien Green is an utterly repellent man. It really is incredible how far and how fast the tories are moving to the right.
  4. Question Time was, long ago, a good forum for reasoned, topical political debate. Sadly, nowadays, it seems to exist mainly to reinforce the binary division created by Brexit. Every week the same old cliches: 'leve means leave,' 'We are where we are,' etc are trotted out. It has become tiresome, unimaginative and boring.
  5. The crowd surfing was brilliant. Also I thought his voice was better than ever. The fact that so many songs came from the last two albums suggest he will have a lot more to offer over the next few years.
  6. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds awesome at the Hydro tonight.
  7. BBC news presenters that cannot speak properly! For example, Annita McVeigh. Every third or fourth word is 'uh'. She is almost unwatchable. Mind you, when you look at her first name it would seem her parents can't spell either.
  8. Joe Root on the balcony looking like Anakin Skywalker just after he embraced the dark side!
  9. Probably been said before, but the way a really good film on sky finishes and as the credits begin, with a well chosen piece of music, the picture shrinks and an annoying voice announces what is coming soon on sky movies! Happened recently with Full Metal Jacket - paint it black and War Dogs - Everybody Knows (Leonard Cohen). Both songs are part of the film! Chosen carefully. Grrrr!
  10. Today's Sunday Herald sport's section has a back page piece by Marcotti in which he writes about the way the Championship League groups are decided. He tells us why Celtic will 'entertain Bayern, PSG and Olympiacos.' He then goes on to argue that the draw could have been tougher as Celtic could 'just as easily ended up with Andelecht...'
