  2. Well that was the worst one yet, I thought last week was good as the tribute to 20 years and as such the reusing of old jokes was fine for that occasion but this was an episode full of stuff we've seen before but done less funny.

Jack's monologue was almost word for word from the original live DVD. I was pretty much saying what he was saying at the same time and was the same for the wildlife documentary dialogue. I know it was for the 20th anniversary but they really shouldn't be repeating jokes. It only brings it down.

To be fair, not many people will have seen the stage show from back then before.  I've seen it a few times so I knew what was coming aswell but I thought it was a good nod to the 20 year anniversary to transfer some of the jokes to the telly. It's not the first time they've referenced a joke or copied a joke from that show either but no one complains about the other ones.

Thought this episode was good up until the coke bottles then it seemed like they'd added unnecessary pish to fill the last five minutes.

Central London. Am running the marathon that day, but should be finished in time for the kickoff. With the marathon crowds I don't think anywhere will be particularly quiet though.

The best one I've heard is a local one..."look at the colour of the seats in the stand" That will be the main stand built in the early 90s, long before he had any remote association with the club...

I liked the whole Mini Celtic thing that started with the unfortunate crop of a picture outside Huntley's ground.

    The one's I can remember:

Alloa and Celtic both play in hoops

Both have a manager called Lennon

    MM supports Celtic

We had players on loan from Celtic

Broadly the clubs that got drawn against Colt teams in the Irn Bru Cup had absolutely naff crowds. No one was interested. If you can expect 4+ games a season where you lose revenue due to fans being uninterested in the fixture then the money you need to receive from the colt teams needs to be over and above what you lose.  If financially it adds up then I reckon teams will back it but... in the end, personally, I can see no other way that this will devalue the lower leagues firstly and reduce the number of fans that go to games.

This is without taking into account that the best youngsters won't be loaned out because their parent club wants to hold onto them. The overall product that's on show at smaller clubs is likely going to be worse. Read the piece in Nutmeg about how German B teams could get 5/6 first team players on international break and thump a team and the next week revert to youngsters and get annihilated. Surely integrity of the competition is tarnished by that kind of thing.  Imagine saying if Celtic hadn't sent Scott Sinclair, Moussa Dembele, Callum McGregor to play us  we might have won the league.

Whilst i'm 100% against colt teams in the league and would never attend an Alloa vs Colt team league fixture the sending players thing won't be allowed if this goes through and the two teams ie Celtic and Celtic Colts would be treated as two different sides so moves would need to be put through as permanent transfer or loan during transfer windows.

Given Jelle's history his choice of walk on song is a little questionable.

I thought the exact same has that always been his walk on, never noticed it before.
