Now the NRL are saying that we cant have our squad stay together for next season after our players said theywill take paycuts and want to all stay together. So even if some of our high earners take paycuts and we have a full squad under the cap the NRL still dont like that they say it is because our squad has been illegally assembled even thought the 4 main players they are referring to (Slater, Inglis, Smith and Cronk) have all come up through the Melbourne system, so how can it be illegally assembled?? Not all of our sponsors have left just the platinum sponsors ME Bank, HostPlus and Skins, sponsors like Suzuki and Jayco have stayed on just like all our loyal fans, plus the team contunues to play very well even though for no points outclassing NZ Warriors 40-6 and last night up at Dairy Farmers beating North Queensland 34-6. Play our first game at our new home stadium this upcoming weekend against Brisbane , so hopefully another win although will be tough with alot of our players playing rep rugby for Australia on the Friday and the city vs country clash aswell. Good to see players like Duffie step up lately and play well though.

They were found out and had points taken off them and handed a paltry fine compared to the massive punishment we have got which is just out to kill us off, and now the NRL are thinking on suspending us for the rest of the season, basically they want us to be no longer. When we started up long before you arrived here the NRL and everyone up in NSW and QLD were smarting we wouldnt survive and we would struggle beyond belief but they didnt like the fact we were successful on and off the pitch. Its true the NRL would never have given as harsh a punishment to a NSW or QLD side, who no doubt plenty of them will have been doing the same thing but the NRL will rather turn a blind eye to it, they said they wouldnt investigate them untill there was whistleblower typical. Melbourne fans are passionate and we will definitely be sticking behind our team but that in itself cant keep our club afloat, we need sponsors and so far they are all dropping off Take our points off us we have accumulated so far this season but dont take them all off us the entire season, thats the kick in the teeth the NRL would no doubt be hoping spells the ed for us.

Im right here. No matter what, me and my mates will continue to be members of our beloved Melbourne Storm. We had a fans day today for a sneak peak at our new stadium AAMI Park which is quality and watched the team train and heaps of members turnt out and the fans will continue to turn up. The NRL are just out to kill us off. They would never give as harsh a punishment as that to a NSW or QLD side and showed their anti-Melbourne bias. Im pretty much devastated because it could maybe be the end for us since sponsors are dropping off and nothing to play for now. Even though it doesnt excuse what Waldron and co did im very sure we arent the only club to have been salary cap breaching lately and a number of other clubs would have been doing it aswell but have just not had the NRL sniffing about them for ages and have a whistleblower on them. Fair enough take the points we have accumulated this season so far off us but to make us play all season and have no points to get is ridiculous and is only to kill us off, why dont they start sniffing about the other clubs aswell. Hopefully we bounce back from this and I know we have loyal fans who will stick behind the team.

It wont bother the doggies fans that much as they are a better team than both Newcastle and Warriors last season and more than likely again this coming season so SBW will only be going down in class.

Correct airdrieman. Well I havent been on this in ages but would just like to say Melbourne Storm we are the world champions!! I should be receiving my Melbourne Storm membership aswell within the next couple of weeks, cant wait for the season to start.

Well it was a good final both teams played well but the match goes for 80min and England seem to not cope with that and thats what sets the men apart from the boys. Good to see Slater play well .

Should be a good final this weekend. Will be interesting if Tim Sheens plays Michael Jennings or not. Should be an interesting matchup between Thurston and Eastmond after Eastmond branded Thurston 'arrogant' when Thurston claimed he didnt know who he was. A big blow for us this week after losing Dallas Johnson to the Catalan Dragons he will do a good job for them over there. Also Wendell Sailor announced his retirement the past few days too.

We are playing Phoenix away tonight so hope we can bounce back after our defeat to the Flames and get back in touching distance with Ottawa, Boston and Buffalo again. Big blow for the Leafs is that Komisarek will be out for 3 weeks for them apparently.

In the Four Nations it will be an Australia vs England final after we demolished the French 42-4 and England had a good win over the kiwis 20-12. Also good to see the Wallabies beat England too.

A good closely fought 3 run win for us Well done to Tendulkar for posting 175 on the board and also good to see Watson play well.

Away to our big rivals Boston tonight and hopefully we can lift from our defeat against Atlanta in our last outing and give us a little breathing space ahead of he Bruins.

France did qualify as you said above but from this year onwards the European Cup will be used to decide who joins in the Four Nations when its held in Europe apparently just as from this year the Pacific Cup will be used to decide who joins it for when its held down here. Its a decent way of doing it I think and gives another nation a chance to enter the competition.

I hope Scotland beat Wales and get to the Four Nations in 2011 it would be good to see them play in it. PNG won the Pacific cup final to qualify to play in next years Four Nations. As for the NZ vs England game in the next round the kiwis have Jeff Lima, Matai and Harrison all in doubt with injuries. Also good to hear Matty King has been doing well over in England.

Well that was a better performance from us in the first half anyway beating England 26-16. Our first half pretty much saved us as England made a late fightback but we held out in the end. Good to see Slater getting a double and Inglis getting one on the night. That Sam Burgess seems like he could be a handy player for the Rabbitohs next season. Now to beat the French next match

Yeah teams always go on road trips during the season. We went on like a 5 game road trip to start the season off with. We tried hard to throw that game away last night but a wins a win As for the jersey we played in last night its just a vintage jersey used obviously to celebate our centenary year, its not like we play in it every seson or every game. As for the leafs now 1-7-4 makes me glad im a Habs fan

Big news for the Wests Tigers as Lote Tuqiri is set to make a comeback to League and play for the Tigers. Would be a good addition to our national team, I think Tim Sheens would find a way to fit him in. It will be a good signing for Wests when he does sign as he isnt allowed to yet since he will be playing a part of the English Union season for Leicester I think. Would be a big lethal combination with him and big Tuiaki on the wing aswell as having Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall in the squad.

We need to get a win tonight against the Maple Leafs especially as its at the Bell Centre after two losses on the road to the Pens and Chicago.

I have heard about St Helens and how they are the powerhouse of the English Super League, one of the best teams going around. Yeah we have been the best team in the NRL for past few seasons actually as we have a quality squad put together with quite a few rep players for QLD and NSW and have 6 players in the Australia squad. I would say we have been the best team of this decade since we have been in 4 straight grand finals, will be harder next season to make that 5 though. I dont know who broadcasts our NRL games over in the UK mate as im from Melbourne and we get it on free-to-air telly and also on our pay-tv called Foxtel here. How has Matty King been going over in England?, he was one of my favourite players when he was playing for us.

If you look at that game it showed we won even though in OT but a wins a win and after beating the Islanders last night are now on a 4 game winning streak, play the Pens tomorrow night however and I think our winning streak may come to an end there. Congrats on your first win this season though for the Leafs.

A good come from behind win for us last night over NY Rangers to make it 3 on the trot so far Michael Cammallieri getting a hat-trick to save us. Vancouver against the Oilers tonight looks like could be a good match.
