  1. Exactly. Refs never let play develop when they see a foul on a defender or keeper deep in their own box. The chances of that situation developing in favour of the victim are absolutely minuscule to zero, so they call it immediately. It’s not often I’m in agreement with Michael Stewart but today is one of those days. It’s an incredibly soft foul and the way it was awarded was bizarre. Thankfully we found a way to score in open play which will take the attention away from the officials and this decision. Maybe. Totally agree with what you said about Roos too. He visibly wilted between the sticks and his attempts were lame and half hearted.
  2. Woh, woh, woh. Rewind. Not only did CCV hoof Hoillet on the back of the calf (hint: that means Hoillet was between CCV and the ball)…. you went even further in your earlier post and said that it was a foul on CCV because Hoillet came into his space. It’s something stronger than coffee you have been smelling.
  3. The ball was loose - CVV wasn’t in control of it. The whole thing happened in milliseconds and Hoilett was perfectly entitled to put himself between CCV and the ball. Players put their bodies across, and in the way of, each other all the time. It’s not some p1shy space stealing micro aggression - it’s how football works.
  4. With Roos in goal, we were relying on Celtic spooning pens into the stand. Worst penalty keeper I have seen for the Dons - nowhere near any of them.
  5. Ehh. So every attempt to intercept a loose ball is a foul because you step into someone’s space? Have you listened to yourself?
  6. Poor covering back from Hoilett. Good finish from the Dan-Irish guy. Big ask to find another now.
  7. Good first 5mins but dreadful from then on. Clarkson, McGrath, Hoillet have offered absolutely nothing. Ross County tri-angling passes through our midfield with ease.
  8. Just a mess of a performance. Every single player was dreadful. Not a single straw to clutch at.
  9. Lost count of how many pens he has conceded now. He gifted Hibs an equaliser a few weeks back too. Back to basics performance today. Blood and thunder, grit and graft. Other than the top bin ping for the goal, there was nae quality - none at all. Frustrating to fail from a self inflicted wound(again) after doing the hard yards for 92mins. Not going to moan about VAR because I thought it looked like a pen. But the decision took ages. Surely if it takes that long, it’s not a clear and obvious error?
  10. You’ve left your caps-lock on mate - it makes you sound like a shouty tramp.
  11. Brutal game. Devlin chucked it there - clumsy t1t. That’s twice in a couple of weeks he has turned a winning position. F*ck knows what happened for the winner but I presume we just folded as the defence were invisible. This squad is going down.
  12. I have persevered through some utter dross over the years. But f*ck me, this mob are on a different level of sh1teness. There are no redeeming features about the performances. None. I canna get the golf clubs out quick enough this season. Enough already.
  13. Miovski showing us there why he is a striker. Can we get the rugby to kick off early? Another laughably bad half of football. A team full of gutless, average jobbers, executing incoherent tactics.
  14. Looks like it’s more of the same today. Grim viewing. 33mins in and I’m not sure if Duk has even touched the ball yet?
  15. It was Dominic Ball that nutted Christie. The other similar example that springs to mind is the Mackay-Steven and Boyata clash which was in the box in the 2018 Betfred final.
  16. Agree with this. It was a good strike and it did move late on but he had a clear view of it from 25-30 yards out and he was well positioned to deal with it. It wasn't as poor as the pathetic first goal, but it was another costly misread.
  17. I know what you mean. It was a crisp hit but he saw that shot coming from a long way out and it was fairly central. He has to push that wide or round the post. It was poor.
  18. Absolutely pathetic from Roos. That's 3 mid week games in a row he has shipped a goal.
  19. Good'een. Sounds like the second decent appointment in two days.
  20. Yeah, hanging on to Miovski is a relief. Everything else about January has been just awful. Struggling to think of another transfer window that has felt so flat and underwhelming. With no management team, it was never going to be easy to sneak in some much needed last minute signings, which makes it all the more galling that it took the board so long to let the guillotine fall on Robson's role.
  21. Yup. Over looking the very, very infrequent collectively good team displays, it has been this way for almost a calendar year now. Like last night, too often we have churned out these one dimensional and painfully predictable performances. The management and coaches have to accept they are culpable for this. That said, also like last night, we can't overlook the individual errors that just keep compounding. Roos and MacDonald had stinkers for Aschcroft's equalizer. That's two midweek games in a row Roos has wilted under a cross ball and cost us 4 points.
  22. 10 points from the last 8 games - most of which were against teams we should be looking to beat. Miles off being good enough and generally in line with our form since the split nearly a year ago.
  23. Ach. We were utter guff since the pen - shrinking violets. Shame as we had been unexpectedly decent for 55 mins without being clinical.
