I think the initial attempt to play the ball with his foot was fine and outside the box. The red must have been for the very subtle pull on Ayungos left arm which might have been on the 18 yard line. Amazing to see the Buddies are raging at Duk going down easy after watching that be awarded.

Dull-n-Dingwall. A few good moments in isolation but mostly bang average at best. If Viny wasn’t a greedy rocket, we would be a goal to the good.

Aye Stewart was far too casual when the ball was at or near his feet today. He was lucky Motherwell didn’t punish us on several occasions. An almost entirely new squad was never going to gel or click immediately. But the first goal aside, there was very little cohesion or structure to anything we tried today on the few occasions we had stable possession of the ball. We were completely outfought, outthought, and outplayed in every area of the pitch. Bit of a worry even this early on.

Yup. Feels like we are in the first innings of another soul destroying run. That’s 2 points from 12 against a poor Rangers, St Mirren, Ross County, and now Livi. Almost guaranteed to be 2 from 15 at 9:30 on Wednesday. Next up is a tough cluster of fixtures. Without a big uplift in form coming out of that, it feels inevitable that it’s time up. But Data-Dave would have to overcome his ego to realise its time to pull the trigger.
