  1. See on the SAAS application form where it asks you to 'please enter details of children wholly dependent on you', right after they take all your parents' details, is that asking me if I have any weans of if my parents have other children?
  2. Somebody must've read that, because I just got my results there. Passed everything.
  3. Yeah, I know people doing law, business and science subjects and they all have theirs already!
  4. Strathclyde really take the piss with the whole exam results thing. Fucking gies them!
  5. It's only 4KB, most of the data is online I think.
  6. Anyone every played on Shoddy Battle? It's basically an online battle simulator, where you make up your team and battle people. It's pretty good fun, it's everything that's good about wifi battling without the months of building up a perfect team with perfect EVs, natures etc. Anyway I was wondering if anyone would be interested in playing a tournament or something. Thought it could be pretty fun, you should have a look at it anyway. www.shoddybattle.com
  7. Really want my results now but I've no idea when we're actually going to get them. I know I passed Italian comfortably, there was no exam and it was all just based on work done over the semester, but I'm still waiting on Geography and Politics.
  8. Really can't stand the thought of the Flyers winning the cup, especially guys like Carcillo and Pronger. Come on Blackhawks, finish this.
  9. Thought I'd give this a bump, is nobody playing this anymore? I'm dividing my time on it between Kanto on HG and a new game of Platinum. HG team is quite solid; Feraligatr, Donphan, Togekiss, Espeon, Magnezone and Arcanine. Going to train that up to beat Red, which will take a good bit of time. Didn't play this for a while but I'm getting back into it. On Platinum, right now I'm using Prinplup, Roselia, Meditite and Jolteon. Planning on fully evolving them and training them up, along with an Altaria and something else, right now I'm thinking Ursaring. When I'm done with that I want to make an Eeveelution team and see if I can beat the Elite 4 with it. I'll probably leave out Flareon since it's shit.
  10. The toilets in the school I went to were locked between classes. If you needed a piss you had to go to the janitor, sign your name and the time in a book, then he'd unlock the door to a disabled toilet next to their office for you. I suppose it sort of worked, since the main toilets were in decent condition apart from the normal stuff like broken locks on cubicle doors and some graffiti. That wee disable toilet was fucking rank though, there was always piss all over the floor and the last time I was in it somebody had drawn a swastika on the wall.
  11. Chicago vs Philly final, wow. Nobody would have predicted that. Go Hawks!
  12. First year uni is probably the most work I've ever done but that says a lot more about how little effort I put in whilst I was at school, since I still found this year easy enough. Next year is definitely going to be tougher though.
  13. Terrific start for the Flyers, but I'll be surprised if the whole series is as open as that. Montréal have done too well so far to just go down that easily. It's still going to be a tight series I think.
  14. It's mental that a team can finish seventh and still end up with home ice advantage in the conference final. Sharks for the cup anyway, I'm on the bandwagon.
  15. First time in 35 years a team has come back to win from being 3-0 down in the series, an absolutely unthinkable achievement by Philly.
  16. It comes from Habitants, which was the name given to French settlers in Canada.
  17. Gutted after that, I knew Crosby's performance would be vital and by getting a penalty for roughing as soon as the game started wasn't really very promising. Fleury has had an average season, and tonight his performance was poor. He's caught out of position all too often, and if any area of the team needs some work it's in goal. He has what it takes to be a top class goalie, but he's just not had a great year and all they problem's he has had showed up tonight. Montréal are so tough to break down, and then once you manage it, you've got to deal with a fantastic goaltender too. They'll do well whoever they come up against in the next round, and if it's the Flyers hopefully they'll destroy them. Overall a disappointing performance, but you can't make the SCF every year I suppose, eh? We've had a few fantastic years, with some incredible talent in the team and long may it continue. Let's Go Pens!
  18. Yep, I've not been this up for a game since the finals last year. Pretty confident, Crosby's performance will be a huge factor tonight, if he can get a few early shots on goal I'm hoping he'll take some confidence from that and score a couple. I'm expecting some pretty hard hitting hockey too, so Montréal should be prepared for a physical game. The tough part for the Penguins will be getting the puck past a solid goaltender who has been excellent in this series. Anyway, bring it on. Go Pens!
  19. What does everyone think now then? It's obviously looking very good for Chicago, San Jose and Boston, but still very close between Pittsburgh and Montreal. I'm now going for a Pittsburgh vs Chicago final.
  20. So frustrating last night, Montreal played well and were difficult to break down, but I really think that the Penguins could have taken that one. They outshot the Habs by almost double, although most of them were unfortunately not from great positions, and Halak had a great game in goal. I can see this one going 7 games.
  21. Bring on the playoffs!

  22. Enjoyed last night's game more than game 1, although that's almost definitely down to the result. The Penguins contained the Senators offence so much better, and Fleury was excellent. Crosby managed to find a way around however Ottawa managed to stop him in the first game too, with a solid performance. Going into the 2 games away from home at 1-1 isn't ideal, but it could be a whole lot worse, so I'm looking forward to the next games.
  23. You've got the right idea there, lad. They're pretty much the worst organisation in the history of sports anywhere, ever.
