Game is big enough that I don't think it matters too much that it's a Monday night. Maybe a couple hundred knocked off the attendance. I guess TV scheduling is the price you pay when your club is massive and making national cup quarter finals.

Asked on the cup thread about Tv picks. Seems like 2 on viaplay (guaranteed to be the 2 bigot brothers games) and 2 on BBC. Most likely we will be Friday night or Monday night which is a bit shite but oh well. Would prefer Friday

How are TV ties divvied for this? All 4 games on TV in some fashion I presume? Or is there a possibility that only 3 are picked? Falkirk v Ayr probably the “worst” pick as far as tv goes.

It did genuinely make a difference having a ref who, for most decisions you could actually say yeah that’s probably fair. The 2nd yellow for their lad was possibly harsh, but he had a couple of fouls in quick succession. Nice to benefit from a small break there

Gall caught my attention at the end of last season where he made a fool of himself talking about Talbot, then bottled promotion anyway. I do like their manager but the team talk being live on TV is tinpot and cringe - into this shite Falkirk.

Bit of a kick in the tadgers but objectively very very funny. There is not a bigger cuck in Scottish football than Airdrie. Couple of winnable (ish) ties opened up in the Scottish cup too. Raith Inverness or Ayr at home would give us a chance.

Looks like a clear penalty for us in the first few mins on the Alloa highlights - same ref that didn't give one at the same end in the cup, but had his whistle in his mouth before Mckay had even handled it after 95 minutes.

Definite penalty, for what it’s worth - someone posted on the coyb page. Still sticks in the craw we’ve been denied 4/5 stonewallers this season and still the only club in the SPFL not to have one!

Just like every title race in history we will need the other to drop points to stand a chance. If the fifers go to Airdrie and QOS, with Airdrie at home in there too, and take 9/9 points then I’ll begrudgingly say fair play - not much you can do about that, and it’ll be pretty much title done. Don’t think they will though.

Hopefully no overreactions tonight. We were never going to win every single game til the end of the season. Don’t think we’ve been particularly “good” in any of our last 4 games, but we’ve ground out 3 wins and a draw. I still think we really struggle to implement anywhere close to our A game away from home, but the change in formation tonight was a disaster and will be instantly binned. Onwards to Darvel, cup game then back at home (to alloa ffs), let’s get back to winning ways.

Changes rung there! Good to see 2 strikers although Burrell maybe on the wing? Yeats back into the side is a surprise but also good to see. Always gives me the fear when we don’t play Morrison but in John we trust
