Take away Morrison's pace and you don't have a lot to play with.
He will have a purple patch when everything is going for him but previously afore injury nothing was.
Important player for us at this level all the same
Think that's harsh, when he has any sort of confidence I think he's an effective player for us. When he's low in confidence however (like the last few months) his game goes to pot

Telfer has 2 assists per season for the last 2 seasons - 5 so far this season. 3 Goals this season with 4 in each previous season. Small numbers for a guy who'd be in the country's top league if not for us (Lol). Someone like Morrison is a far more important player to us than Telfer has ever been.

For all the other stuff Starmer does reasonably well I cannot bring myself to like a man who has been so consistently wrong on the single biggest issue that has ever affected my life. I am the definition of politically homeless atm. Enjoying the utter p***k of a man, Boris Johnson, handing these unintelligent control freaks their arse to them...

Sorry but Saturday was down to Rennie for me team selection and formation. it was a back 5 that was threatened throughout which left 3 centre mids to cover the biggest area of the park with one of them being Hetherington. It's not been the first time Rennie has stuck to his formation and lost when it clearly wasn't working.
Any team with a bit savvy will put us to the sword whilst we have this formation weekly, every team has in parts so far, showing it's not working.
I am a huge fan of 3-5-2 for this league but its far too ropey now the way we play it and surely the penny has dropped.
When someone in any profession admits they don't know if they can fix it more than once, then they should not be in the job they hold.
Any football manager worth their salt will bullshit their speech bubbles to the public when it clearly isn't going for them, then ride the waves when it does.
Sheerin's biggest mistake was making Ruth his no9. The Queen's park game pre Ruth, we did everything bar score. A week later with Ruth we looked like we'd never score again and that continued.
6pts must be the minimum
It's actually the maximum

As a guy who has little to zero future in professional football, I actually respect him trying to create a brand/something that will help him when that ends (soon). Genuinely more power to him, it’s smart.

Watched Peterhead against Dundee and thought they were good, and by all accounts been a bit unlucky last few games. If we get our front 3 (Im certain Rennie will play them all) firing we could win but think this’ll be a tough game for us, can see a high scoring loss

If the fear is that Rennie is a bit pish then a 6 month deal is a very clever deal by the new bod. Don’t know why a short contract “doesn’t make sense” - old board would’ve given him a 3 year deal after his first win and we’d be stuck paying out 100k or something in the summer (if he does turn out poor, not guaranteed yet)

I’m also tired of reading how we are lumbered with pish that we can’t get a tune out of. We have both a core of 12-13 guys who should be going toe to toe with the 11 we were up against today, and also enough time/money for a management team to have made enough changes for us to be competitive today. We weren’t.

After the final whistle the ref brandished a red card to either a Falkirk staff member or potentially an unused sub. Any idea who received it?
Christ, collective heads gone. Another night where it feels shameful and embarrassing to be a Falkirk fan.

Anyone who was at Montrose a couple of weeks ago won’t have been surprised at what we saw today.
Quite simply, if you do anything but lie down to us, we will not win the game. It’s been the same problem for around 4 years. Incredible

So we’re going with the shat the bed approach. Scunnered with that lineup tbh. Hope I’m proven wrong

Watched MR pre match interview. Learned nothing
Keeps his cards close to his chest pre match. Post match interviews are different.
As long as he keeps winning don’t care what he says pre match in a 2 minute interview

Wouldn't be surprised to see most of this gubbins flung on the bonfire around Easter time, tbh. That's Switzerland already joining Norway in announcing quarantine and test-free travel even for the unvaxxed, with no pointless contact tracing forms either. The first Med country to do this will lead to the rest following suit quicker than a tramp on chips.
Sky News were also saying the UK passenger locator form could be in the bin following Johnson's speech on Monday. Obviously we'll probably get our own new Scottish version from Queen Nicola, but still.
Belgium too. They've been pretty heavy handed with the testing and quarantine rules for 2 years now. As of tomorrow, any testing and quarantine completely gone for vaccinated travellers...can see the rules for unvaccinated binned by Spring

There is next to nothing within a couple of miles tbf. We have a Fanzone, a glorified portakabin, in the ground (far end past the home support turnstiles). It's open to home and away fans and is probably the best shout. Reasonably priced booze for Aberdeen standards.
Is langdykes bar no good? First time visit for me too. If that’s no good the Wellington hotel at least looks like a place I can get a pint before the game?

Watched this vid after our game v Alloa and thought the wee fannies there would be similar to the tag ons at Dumbarton who’d be the ones breaking seats etc.
A shame - a few of the young guys will have Dumbarton at heart and will be life long fans. Unfortunately they’ll be probably the smarter, nicer, quieter lads who wouldn’t confront the wee fannies.
Getting someone like Farrell to talk to them seems smart

One thing I’ve noticed is we need to be far smarter during the 5/10 mins before half time. Wasn’t much in the game at Montrose til we went into meltdown mode at the back with wingbacks caught far too far up the pitch - that cost the game. Against alloa we went into self destruct mode til half time. Playing out from the back is fine but needs to be coached that during these crucial times of games, not conceding is far more important

Hilarious vid that. Pretty weird number of Celtic and Rangers fans in that Alloa end too, just youngsters I guess - hope they grow out of it

Just watching the highlights, how the feck is that corner stantion thing in the goals legal?! Third goal is clearly going in, hits that and comes out - very tough for officials to notice it. Wild

Also, get in the bin anyone saying alloa tv boy should be sacked etc. Was a joke in poor taste ffs, not the end of the world. Move on

Chuffed to ribbons that Kabia and Jacobs are both working out for your mob. Very different personalities/players at opposite ends of their career. If Kabia gets a run, he’ll see you to the play-offs, and more.
Jacobs put in the only CM/CDM performance worthy of the name that I’ve seen from us in about 2 years

I'm sorry but why is she utterly raging about having to repeal these restrictions? We have never ever been in a better place with this virus. A time to rejoice. But nah, she's clearly visibly fuming
