  1. Joker: I’ll update this post in a bit once I’ve got home and sorted for the night. 9.5/10.
  2. This is absolutely no surprise coming from someone who presumably hails from Dingwall.
  3. Not controversial, but still sickening to this day. If Wilkie was playing he’d have stopped Amouroso (sp?) winning that header.
  4. For the Pavement/Stephen Malkmus and Yo La Tengo fans out there:
  5. b*****d. Stole the best one I know. I’ll go for the 2nd best one I know: “Like punching smoke”
  6. I know of some ex-colleagues/students that know him, and know of his actions. He’s abhorrent. Ridiculously lenient sentencing.
  7. Fucking right, can't have a despotic banana republic on our doorstep.
  8. Fucking right, can't have a despotic banana republic on our doorstep.
  9. Holy f**k. Did anyone see Geoffrey Cox blow up there?
  10. I happened to read somewhere (I can’t remember the exact article) that the cinema where James Holmes shot and killed innocent people in the US won’t be showing the film after pressure from the victims’ families. The families also wrote to Warner Bros. saying that they were irresponsible for releasing the film at all, and that they should be donating its profits to gun-violence charities. Not directly related to your point but I thought I’d throw it out there. I’d say it’s complicated; you’ll always get dweebs on Tumblr and the like glorifying anything remotely counter-culture. It’s like the same (mostly female) weirdos who fetishise the relationship between Harley Quinn and the Joker, even though it’s about as abusive and toxic as a relationship could get.
  11. Indeed. He died a good few years back, but his reviewing website still runs with his name. I’ve seen excellent reviews for this. The only bad ones seem to be from publications trying to tie in “incel” culture into it, saying the film glorified it, and say the film might inspire idiots to commit violence. A lot of shite in all honesty, but that’s no surprise if it’s been lapped up by RandomGuy.
  12. Corbyn will be calling for a VoNC, with Lib Dem’s apparently backing it, along with the SNP and other smaller parties besides the usual suspects. The important thing here is that the backing for the VoNC will still be there even if a unity government isn’t guaranteed. This is all rumours and murmurs of course.
  13. Yeah, I don’t think the Tories are going to get their conference.
  14. This government is not capable of playing some type of 56d chess.
  15. 3 line whip for the Tories tomorrow. Wonder what for? [emoji6]
  16. Opportunity for emergency debate proposals to be put forward; also for statements to be put forward as well. Still will be tasty viewing.
