I've noticed it in 6 and 5, that you have absolute freak shows with ridiculous teams who are clearly not supposed to be at that level. Probably the same in 7, 8, etc. I very rarely come across teams that don't have mostly all special/icons in their team.

Waiting on Semedo auction to come through and I'll replace Roberto with him. Here's how I'm looking so far; changed the formation up and stuck Ayoze as a RF alongside Mariano and Morales.

What should I spend coins on to improve? Squad battles I can get to Elite 2/1 no bother I reckon. In terms of the weekend league...I’m not qualified for it yet but I’m division 5 rank 2? 910/2000 points in terms of qualification.

For what it’s worth he’s better stats wise than Ayoze but for whatever reason Ayoze is 89 and he’s 88. I’m happy with Ayoze however so don’t mind chucking him for some coins. He’s currently been bid 65k with 50 odd minutes to go so here’s hoping. I knew it wasn’t Messi since my luck isn’t that good and EA aren’t that daft to give him over that easy.

Think he goes for between 65-70k so happy with that. Means I'll have around 90k coins to play with.

I’ve not checked the squad battles rewards yet but going by what folk are saying I might just forgo the packs. [emoji23]

See the rewards from W/L, are they tradeable? I'm struggling like f**k for coins atm and passing up on 39,000 for packs instead seems a bit counterintuitive.

Ayoze is doing well at RWB funnily enough, absolutely bursts down the wing past opposition full backs with ease.

The Mariano objective had a similar criterion, if that’s the case for the Lb it should be pretty easy. I’ve basically completed the assist with defenders one, just have to score 4 goals with a 3 star weak footed donkey.

Was in Div 5, Rank 2, things going smoothly; proceed to lose around 4/6 games and get punted back to Div 6. Seems like if your CB's don't have 80+ pace you're absolutely fucked in the grand scheme of things. Overall record is 44-0-9 so still doing okay. I can't grind squad battles anymore since I've played 40 so going to finish a bawhair off of Elite 1 which is a pisser but hey ho. Can definitely see where EA makes their money though, some people must spend an absolute fortune and get carried through by the sheer speed of their players.
