    Wow. I assume the board thought someone would want to come in for him at some point and would be a money maker, looking more likely it would need a big pay off.

    Was coming on to say much the same thing, East Fife have far better players like Brian Easton, Trouten, Austin and a few others that should be getting results more like they have been under Campbell. There is obviously a confidence issue with Bonnyrigg, they had 11 points from the first 5 games and have taken 19 points from then next 75 available. But there’s no denying an obvious lack of quality.

    If horn was going to be sacked it should’ve been weeks ago. 6 games is very little time for anyone to put a stamp on a part time team - look at our first 6-8 games with McCall and even then we needed a raft of signings and people out the door.

    Been 3 tight games against Spartans this season so not expecting anything different today. Prospect of getting off the bottom must be the motivation for this one.

    You’d think after a 6-2 win confidence would be high for this, but I’ve got the fear Dumbarton could make an arse of this.

    Definite push from Johnston for that foul on 4:50. That decision not to give Elgin a penalty though

    Unfortunate that an important result for us has been overshadowed by this incident. The whataboutery is near old firm levels, rather than just admitting both are in the wrong. Why scullion is all annoyed at the end rather than enjoy the win I don’t know, but it doesn’t excuse the fan spitting or him doing it back. All very preventable and needless. Much needed win and hopefully we can come off the bottom next week.

    Stranraer can feel aggrieved at not getting a penalty but not mentioning Elgin’s even more obvious penalty at 0-0 is a bit daft. Referees at this level are generally poor, Scott Lambie for our game against Forfar a few weeks back was horrendous.

    The team won’t think it yet, but Elgin are very much safe for me. There’s no way us, Stranraer and Bonnyrigg will all overtake. Every time Stranraer lose its down to the ref.
