I'm never convinced Millar and McManus can start together, whatever was up with Jess lets hope he recovers by Saturday as he and Millar were doing well together.

Certainly a disappointing result. would have taken a point before the game but wasn't to be. Big game v Peterhead next week, lets hope for a good turn out and performance !

2-1 Stranraer

Its back to League business with The Fife making the trip to Stranraer looking to keep our excellent start to the season going. Despite losing to Dunfermline last week spirits will be high for the away team. Stranraer still manager-less are on the ropes at the moment but Stair Park is always a tricky venue. I would expect us to line up along familiar lines with Gordon Walker making his league debut : -McFarlane- -Walker- -Munro- -Easton- -Newton- -Norey- -Millar- -Healy- -Trouten- -Peggie- -Austin-

Ferguson picked up numerous player of the year awards for us and if he can hit that form again he will do well for you. Centre midfielder all day long, don't play him anywhere else.

Dunfermline took goals well. Refs never given us a thing this half.

Does the signing of Gordon Walker signal the end of Docherty's Fife career ? We certainly don't need 3 right backs and would assume we would be looking to move one of them on.

Will be interesting to see if Dick gives some of the bench players a start. I suspect we will start along usual lines and introduce the fresh legs in the 2nd half. Will Murdoch start before Walker ? As i mentioned in the EF thread, does this spell the end of Docherty's East Fife career.

We've been needing a right back as our other 2 are suspect.

2 Relegations. He was binned by us before we went down but it was his inaction the summer before that doomed us. I think he would be more suited to Arbroath where he is working with a better squad and budget. He was found out at East Fife when the budget was reduced.

Fash's second goal is outrageous. We've been treated to some crackers this season already but it will be a long time till that goal is bettered at Bayview.

What a game and performance by East FIfe. The Clyde defence were all over the shop in the first half, we could have scored 5, Austin passed a few chances up that were easier than his worldie. I didn't really see our Penalty clearly but the Clyde award looked the correct decision. Regular attendees to Bayview know that sometimes its not that difficult playing into the wind. Keep the ball down and i thought we played some excellent stuff on the deck. Another cracking assist from McManus and really pleased for Adam Laaref. We really need to sort out right back though Jess Norey, slotted in well but hes too god a player to be playing there. As for Clyde they were everything that East Fife weren't. Shaky in central defence and weak in midfield. I'm a fan of Kyle Connell but he isn't a lone striker, he needs someone to play off of. Things couldn't have gone better for us today. Free hit at Dunfermline next week and hopefully Dick gets a few loans over the line.
