I mentioned gretna purely on a results basis, because they are absolutely shite. For whatever reason you’re the one been going full hammer and tongs into what clubs represent and who owns what on a debate which started on if folk would even want to watch these teams. Bit odd.

I’m sure that’s consolation for the Gretna fans watching them getting a skudding every week being able to look round and say at least this is ours.

I think the point trying to be made is that the lowland league isn’t in the SPFL, and outwith the professional leagues. It’s a bit bizarre how many are getting hung up on that. There will be some decent teams in it, but there is also some utter dross. Edinburgh Uni and Gretna have 13 points between them from combined 49 games, conceding 196 goals. I don’t blame anyone if they didn’t want to go and watch it, because the chances of coming back, as every other team that have gone down have shown, is slim to none. I’d be interested to see what the fans of other clubs chipping in here would say if it was them.

That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t happen to us.

In terms of what we had as a team in the first half no, but the league in general is better. There’s some utter guff in that lowland league.

Don’t think anyone would stop supporting, but crowds would go down dramatically. The thought of going to watch Gala Fairydean and Civil Service Strollers etc is bad enough.

That’s absolutely pish from Leighfield last night, even as far back as Musselburgh he’s been making mistakes costing goals. The debates been had a few times, but genuinely no idea why he gets a game over Parry. Parry himself isn’t what he was but he wouldn’t make half the errors leighfield does.

You can’t really aim any blame at McCall in this. He literally needed 1 player in every position, 2 for some. January hasn’t really went as well as we were told it would.

Full back has been a glaring area of weakness for a long time now, and how anyone thinks Leighfield is better than Parry is genuinely beyond me. He is absolutely hopeless. Don’t see a way back.

Saw he was an unused sub for Morton at the weekend and thought there’s a good chance of him coming back if he’s not being used now.

Elgins home form is pretty good, just as well given they’ve picked up 1 point away from home this season. It will be difficult, but we have been improving ourselves.

I think talk of hitting mid table is a bit overly confident, take 9th and just build for next season.

We’ve been better in the past month or so but a win here would be massive. Would pull Elgin to within a point, and Stranraer to within 5 who are sitting 7th. It’s absolutely a must not lose. Dont think they do, but do Elgin offer PPV?
