Wouldn’t read too much into the results, friendlies all about fitness and getting some game time for the new guys to get into the team. I remember us having brilliant pre-seasons, the likes of beating hibs 3-0 then getting relegated.

Unfortunate as he’ll probably go to them. Not sure where he’s from but was on loan at Morton last season as well.

Kerr Waddell released from Dundee, would be a good replacement for Lang. Really liked him in his loan spell a few years ago.

A google search brings Liam Allison up as last at east Stirling having cake through motherwells youth. Unless it’s another Liam Allison.

I have to say I didn’t even notice the change in socks from December, not exactly something to look out for. Wouldnt be fussed if there wasn’t a new kit, quite liked this years.

Just seen David Hopkirk has signed for stenhousemuir.

Wallace is a midfielder so don’t see him being put in defence. Doubt we’ll change much from last years style of play.

There’s nothing to be taken from mcstays profile not being on the website, he’s not signed yet so why would we put a profile on when he’s not technically our player. Theres no information to suggest he’s signing however nothing to say he’s not signing either. Time will tell.

Delighted to see Allan Moore sign up for 2 years, vital that we keep him and Danny together and continue the success we’ve had. Also still hoping mcstay signs on as well. Still plenty time till the league season starts.

Not sure how much we got for Lang but Dunfermline have thanked us for agreeing a fair compensation deal. Lang was excellent at centre half and I can see him doing well at Dunfermline.

Only reason I can think of is because we are home team and that would give accies advantage.

Don’t agree that there are “serious gaps” in the squad. We have 16 signed up who are the basis of a decent league 1 team I think, we’ll probably bring in another 4/5 minimum, who no doubt Danny will have done his homework on. Not surprised Lang is moving on, mcstay has been in Australia so may well be signing on, who knows.
