SAME OLD CLYDE / WIGAN RUGBY LEAGUE FC ALWAYS CHEATING. BEING WEST COAST IT WILL NO DOUBT GET CHANGED ON APPEAL LIKE WIGAN RLFC TO A SUSPENDED DEDUCTION
I’ve seen some comparisons in my time, but a Scottish football club to an English rugby league club is something else.

I’d like to know the reasoning behind giving Albion and QP(no disrespect) a 3-0 win, just can’t see why it had to be that, as opposed to a 1-0 win even.
Its totally unforgivable what’s happened, especially in the middle of our best unbeaten run in 62 years. Someone has to walk for this.

They done the same with Raith last season.
But yet Hearts only get 2 points deducted in the Cup group, with nothing awarded to the opposition. Strange that eh.

Trust me, Rovers would never have beaten Clyde if Fitzpatrick wasn’t involved. They’d have probably lost by more frankly !
He is our player anyway btw.
Just out of interest, when Hearts were deducted 2 points in the league cup earlier this year, did their opponents get the points ? If not, why not ?
Because that would’ve put hearts out the Cup and a smaller team through, less money and less interest in the competition, is exactly why.
I accept we’re in the wrong, but I don’t believe for a minute of any of the big teams done the same they’d have got the same sanctions.

I did wonder about the hearts 2 point deduction, it meant they just managed to get through their betfred Cup group as opposed to being knocked out. Don’t know the ins and outs but seems strange to give more of a punishment to one than the other.

Ridiculous situation, seasons finished now.

Just read the injury updates. Assuming Goodwillie won’t make Saturday, love might, and since he wasn’t mentioned Syvertsen probably will and didn’t need to be mentioned for an update.

No idea. He's never been anywhere near the first team. Did come on and score for the reserves midweek. Quite young isn't he?
Aye just 17. I imagine he’ll be involved tomorrow given we have a few injuries.

We’ve taken Scott banks on loan for the rest of the season, anyone any idea what he’s like?

Would’ve preferred a striker, but we’ll need as many options as possible for the run in. Happy enough to bring someone in.

The best post match Berwick interview was after we won 1-0 down there with a last minute penalty. Robbie horn couldn’t get a word in for that Eric tait.

The lottery must bring a fair bit in, especially since the jackpot has been sitting at 20k for a long time now.
Assuming the 20k is sitting there to be given out, I’d be happy for the club to take 10k of it or more and start the jackpot at 10k, building back up towards the 20k maximum.

Danny did get his team selection wrong in the Scottish and Irn Bru Cups and he's made it harder for himself in that he's not had the luxury of extra funds above his budget to strengthen. We're doing just fine with the players we've got anyway.
So you know we budgeted to go out the cup first time of asking ?
I’m no accountant, but it would make sense to budget for only having 1 Scottish Cup game when you have no guarantee of getting through it.

Assuming the money freed up by Gorman leaving, Millar out on loan(doubt he’ll be on much anyway), is being used for Syvertsen so can’t see the budget being used up any more than it was.

I think he is worth signing up, I didn’t realise he was only 20. Agreed he has a lot to learn tactically, positional sense as well if he is out wide. On the ball and running at defenders we have seen that he can create chances and cause problems for the opposition.
Wouldnt mind seeing him through the middle if Goodwillie isn’t there. I suspect if we are signing him up, we won’t be bringing in a loan to cover.

Stirling Observer reporting that we are interested in signing Max Wright. He’s not a player that’s ever impressed me, whether that was for The Shire, Stranraer, Clyde or Annan, games just seem to pass him by, so i’m surprised that KR is interested.
Obviously, if he was to sign for the club then he would get my whole support, but i’m not sure what he would add.Next to nothing to answer your last point.

Could make a move for Shane Sutherland at Elgin. Out of contract in the summer so probably available reasonably cheap. Decent player and knows where the net is, although questionable attitude maybe in terms of playing second fiddle to fit again Goodwillie.
Location could be a problem with him if he lives up that way, no idea if he does but could be an issue if he does.

From what I’ve seen of Syvertsen, I don’t think he’s been overly effective out wide, however hasn’t done much wrong either.
I’d give him a few games through the middle to see what he’s like, he’s definitely got the skill to hold it in and bring others into play, even take a run at defenders and beat them.

Not sure if we’ll go with Syvertsen up front or possibly try and get a loan in to cover. A few have left so there is possibly a bit of money sitting to cover the loan wages.

Sean Higgins at least scored a few goals, Millar hasn’t even came close.
Sorry, but he’s nowhere near good enough and won’t be.

Likewise working fine for me.

Anyone who thinks rangers and Celtic are out to benefit Scottish football needs their head checking.

I know this thread starts with 'Old Firm', but could we take off the Anti-OF Seethe goggles.
What about thinking about what would be good for OUR young players, rather than fixating on countering what the OF may or may not be up to.Let’s be honest, this is being pushed because rangers and Celtic think it would benefit them. Nobody else.
The SFA are absolutely spineless.

Said it at the time myself, hearts losing 3 points would’ve put them out and someone else(can’t remember who) through. Picking and choosing their sanctions.
