Assuming our support was around the usual 400 mark.
Noticed Danny Lennon applauding the fans for singing so much during the second half.

Still find it hard to believe anyone would pay money to take him with the scrutiny that would come with it.

I got a jumper which took about 2 weeks, the top was only 10 days or so.

Bearing in mind killie we were 2-1 up until an hour or so. Still decent to finish 3rd in the group given there was 3 higher division teams in it.
As long as we are ready for August 4th, cowdenbeath will be a hard game.

We had a decent betfred Cup last year beating Annan and Dumbarton, ran Killie close and look what happened after that...

We kept plenty of clean sheets after January so I wouldn’t worry about that too much.
Wasnt there but Stephen dobbie is a class player for queens level, he’s a handful for most teams.

How did Alan trouten play today one of the best players ever to grace the lower leagues
So good I didn’t even notice he was playing.
Thought we played really well today, played with a lot of energy and closed down quickly not allowing Alloa to play too much.
Grant motm for me, broke up so much and distributed it well. Also thought Gorman didn’t look out of place, a decent back up to have anyway.
Goodies goal was a screamer.

We had him 2 seasons ago and was very good, only played a few times last season. Good keeper he’ll do well.

Jim chapman may well be a good guy but he’s absolutely hopeless as a football manager.
Would like us to 1 more centre forward in, Aaron Millar isn’t a good enough back up. Everywhere else I think we have enough.

Young st Mirren team going by the website, a full pre season together should help us get a good start with any luck.

Good to see some of the money raised through the flying start initiative used well. Looking forward to the season starting!

Think it would be a worlds first if a player left a club 2 weeks into pre season for his fitness.

Lewis Wilson has signed for Albion rovers, did he even play a game for us last year?

What? A “ few loan signings “? This is a squad being signed up on contracts to do the job of winning the league. We have signed up some of the loan signings from last season. We have contracted players aplenty. Tell me. Where will your loan signings improve the squad?
Fair to say our loans helped the squad last year. We have 18 signed now and imagine most of the budget away, a few loans of a good standard would generally just help the squad, was really all I was saying.

Looking at the squad, we have retained the majority of guys who did really well from January onwards, adding a few who on the face of it can do a solid job when required. A few loan signings to bolster the squad would be good.
I think we’ll have a good season anyway.

I'm fizzing with that one, to be honest. Who does Danny Lennon think he is, signing diddies like Eddie Ferns?
In all seriousness, we are getting into "squad player" territory now; I make that 16 senior players (plus Millar), and we still need another 'keeper. We did need another wide option, and Ferns has lightning pace, he's fairly experienced and - crucially - has won promotion two seasons running.
I make it 17 plus Aaron Millar. According to the profiles on the website which doesn’t include mcstay or today’s 2 signings yet.

Think we needed another player who could play centre back or left back so pleased with that.

2 of the harder away games done in the first 3 games. Decent run in at the other end.

Scott McLaughlin was terrible for us 2 years ago when we nearly finished bottom, admittedly in a terrible team.
Couldnt believe Albion signed 3 of that team in McLaughlin, Higgins and perry.

I don’t expect Rankin to be anywhere near like he was, I still expect him to be able to win the ball and distribute it well at our level. Should be a good signing.

Friendly against accies on 7th July 12:15 ko. Says restricted attendance though.
Taken from accies website -
Saturday 7th July v Clyde, 12.15pm at Broadwood Stadium – Note, this will be ticket only with a restricted entry due to stewarding requirements at Broadwood, with Cumbernauld Colts v Queen’s Park on afterwards at 4pm. Ticket details will be announced once confirmed by Clyde but they will likely have an online / print facility.

Ewan had a decent season for Clyde as well but I can’t help but think he maybe fancies himself as a slightly better player than he really is.
Was going to say the same thing, think he rates himself highly. Decent but a liability as well, the amount of shirt pulling in the box he did was incredible, he could give away a penalty most weeks.

Would like to think since it’s a Saturday 3pm, Motherwell would still bring a fairly good crowd.

Expecting a tough game on Saturday as I expect you guys have improved a fair bit from last season.
3 home defeats in 19 in 2018 for us, hoping we keep that form going of course.
