  1. You could see an argument for offering Ginnelly a whacking big contract as it would (whisper it) start to clear the path for selling Duk in August or January. I would fully expect Ginnelly to head to the english championship though but we can certainly afford to offer him terms to blow Hearts and League One out of the water.
  2. Lewis will be out and replaced. Stewart will be out and replaced with a left footer. Need a left back as first pick. Hayes and Mackenzie as backup. Ngwenya is a left back btw. We need, ideally, a first pick attacker/creater that could be central or wing. It'll be interesting to see what formations are used in pre season
  3. Its going to be a long way to 1st September for keeping hold of Duk and Miovski.
  4. Thats just the strikers sorted. Still a long way to go on the midfield, defence and keeper
  5. I'd be hopeful that Vinnie can contribute this season. He's certainly a very decent player and he can still contribute even if he's not running enough for Robson to start him regularly
  6. This. Presume weve got Idzes or Pollock for RCH if weve pulled out of the race for Fish.
  7. I agree with every statement but can still drag out the negotiations until we have our sub keeper lined up.
  8. probably wait until we sign a new keeper before making a serious offer to rip up the contract
  9. Presume Lewis, Roberts and Stewart will all disappear by mutual consent before the first day of pre-season and suspect another 2 or 3 by deadline day.
  10. There is also Ngwenya and Towler that have contracts. So bit of circumstances going against him especially if assuming those two, Mackenzie and Hayes are not the starting left side defenders
  11. Suspect Sokler could even be a good bit less than that. I dont think we'd be jumping on him this early at that price. There is not a lot of money in Slovenian football so could be cheap.
  12. a project signing in this case just meaning he might turn out to be as per his value as opposed to certainly Miovski and Teksic who we would be very confident will go on to better things relatively quickly. It's more of a punt than some others but we can take that risk when we have two international class strikers on the books
  13. 3 weeks rest and 3 weeks rehab apparently - think that was from his specialist appointment which was a week or so after the injury.... so all in 7 weeks out.
  14. Yea, it's a good plan. Hopefully fee is small in case he's more Myslovic and less Miovski. Fingers crossed though weve done our homework and if Maribor are in for him then thats a decent second opinion
  15. 'Riskier move' is in line with transfermarkt who value Teklic at €1.5M but Sokler is only at €0.4M. If we know that Duk and Miovski are staying until 2024 we can afford to take a punt on someone with a high ceiling that could go the way of those two as opposed to paying very high wages to pick up a Van Veen or S.Fletcher for example
  16. I'm really hoping we are holding on to Miovski and Duk until 2024. Teams would need to offer silly money for us to part with either so soon and I'm hoping no clubs are feeling too silly.
  17. the captain guy does not seem nearly as highly rated so a bit of a Ramadani/Miovski set up.
  18. From the back of my mind I think it was the Fola Esch home tie that was in June?
  19. They are both brilliant footballers and weve done well to get hold of them. Both deserve to be offered improved terms.
  20. Clubs can get desperate and there is a lot of cash sloshing around these days. I'd still be surprised though. On top of the 15 players we need to sign recruitment team should also prepare for requirement to bring in a star striker.
