sorry to come in late, with a question that has already been answered, but no desire to trawl through numerous threads to find it (lazy bassa by nature) If RFC go bust, do the pheonix club not have to be members of the SFA? This would be by buying a licence (as per Airdrie), or election to DIV3 (as per Gretna, Annan et al)Would that not then stop the SPL "inviting" them to join? At least until one or the other happens.

no, it's Airdrie's fault, as always, do keep up -

Daily Rantic has relegated livi story to 11 pages in from the back. After tennis and racing. Anyhoos, gist of story (not online) acceptance of decision, waiting on written judgement before any further action considered (CAS) and McDoog's belief that Livi can still prosper. So nothing new. -

In the public domain? Then print it and be damned, old boy. We have the right to know. BTW has Rankine been making confidential information public (eg Mcintyre's betting) contrary to bookmaker statute (or some such legalese?) If so who do we upstanding citizens inform? -

what do we expect from the recently post-pubescent teenager, that is livi? it knows no other way to behave. before my sanity is questioned (again) I know livi is a inanimate object , not a spotty laddie, but sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. -

I see the Daily Rantic has it as a morning meeting. So by the time the 20 odd chairmen stop shaking hands, and have a coffee, roll and bacon etc. Then a wee moan about life in general. Then a small aperitif and lunch, they'll get round to talking sanctions about 3ish. So yip 4-5 pm sounds about right. edited to put the drink before the food. not posh enough to know, had to check. -

at that time they thought they were certs for a DIV1 survival. It was only after that the talk of boycotts etc started, was it not? -

whilst we were talking about massone's double bluff, what if mcdougall and rankine have just done similar? facing a first division with an away fans boycott would have made a serious dent in the business plan, losing them >700k in the process. so make all the wrong noises in the press prior to the meeting, get told to feck off to DIV3 as a result, and be able to walk away claiming it was everybody else's fault their plan was rejected. simples -

from KftS post above a quote attributed to Flynn "If you are in the First Division, no-one makes money from the league games." Now I don't know what's changed since April 2008, but the new consortium's business plan hinges on DIV1 status. If it's not for the potential cash generated, what difference would the league status make? -

If true it's not so much a gun, but a .44 magnum, they've put to his head. Meantime, whilst awaiting replies to my questions, I'll adopt yours as number 3 on my list of things not known. I hope you don't mind 1/ Is Hegarty situation resolved, yes or no? 2/ Can the SFL reject the business plan? yes or no? 3/ Can the offer be withdrawn? yes or no? Can't be hard for someone Livi-minded shed some light on the above. -

I see most reports have bollan as the next manager, murphy as the present manager, and no mention of hegarty at all. does this mean he's been paid off by massone/mcgruther, or is there still a tribunal to be heard regarding his position? yet another missing piece of the jigsaw, or have I missed something? I don't recall any post about his situation being resolved. Not only, but also, what happens if when McDougall/Rankine/McGruther submit their "masterplan" it doesn't match the promises/predictions they made on Thursday. Do the SFL have the right to say sorry, not good enough, now feck off? -

the crowd at coatbridge is reported to have been 602, how many were livi? I thought they were going to infest/invade the place with the result of being saved. seemingly not.
