Seeing as our threads been a bit quiet of late. There's a wee rumour I seen on Twitter that Jim Duffy is off at the end of the season. Surely if this happened Stevie would be a big favourite to take over across the water?

So you wouldn’t take Scott taggart or Jordan Kirkpatrick right now? Both would walk into our starting 11 as it stands. Kevin Cawley would probably pose more of a threat than nesbitt or Gallagher also.

When I play I want to play at the highest level possible, even if it means my team punching above its weight and we lose more than we win, I enjoy the challenge of pitting myself against better quality players and teams. When I support the sons I want the same, it maybe a struggle week in week out but I still want my team to play at the highest level possible. Dropping down won’t necessarily mean better more attractive football, even if we had a superior team due to a bigger budget (which is unlikely to be the case) you would undoubtedly find some of them drop to the level of the teams they are up against, there are a lot of ‘giant’ killings that back this up. Also we have been the ‘best PT team’ for a number of years so dropping down will give other teams an incentive to beat us and steal our crown.

When does Stevies contract run out? Do we think he will still be with us next season regardless of what league we are in or could it depend on what FT jobs become available? Also what, if any, players are signed up for next season on deals that extend beyond this season? Over to you @sonsteamof08

What we all loved about still game when it hit our tv screens for the 1st time was we could all relate to the jokes, it was new, fresh and what Scottish pensioners do stereotypically. Move on to the current series and they have reverted to doing silly things to try and force a laugh. It’s as if they have ran out of ideas and it’s become slapstick comedy. To be honest we are all to blame we all begged it to return, it should’ve been left as it was and we could’ve re-visited the old classics for our laughs. Hopefully that will be the case from now on as I think it’s had it’s day. I have a channel on an app on my tv which is 24/7 still game, some of the episodes I had totally forgotten about are magic. I’ll stick to this
