I’d argue that both were as bad as each other to be honest. But I didn’t see who it was that stuck his knee into Chris after he had caught the ball. Can’t believe neither of those deserved a card but some of the bookings we got were very soft, including the ridiculous simulation booking for Euan East who was clearly fouled by Smith.

Really disappointed in McGuigan yesterday. Deliberating kneeing a player in the back of the head when he was on the ground is a real shitebag move. Shame really because he is a decent striker that will score a number of goals this season, but that left a bad taste in the mouth.

I have to disagree with this part, the “major catalyst was undoubtedly, and very sadly, the death of ‘Dukesy’. I was in the changing room before and after the Stirling game and there was absolutely no mention of Clyde or the 3 points. But the big man and doing it for him was mentioned A LOT. There are always key moments for teams and this new team (that’s what they were as most had only been at the club a couple of months) became a much tighter group united by their grief after the tragic event the week before. And not from receiving 3 points from a game where their opponents broke the rules.

Haha what a lot of nonsense!! “Gifted” nothing, they played a player who shouldn’t have being playing, he was involved in the winner so you can’t even argue that he didn’t play a significant part in the game (which is irrelevant anyway). I would also argue that come the end of the season it probably won’t matter as the gap will be greater than 3 points anyway [emoji1360]

Albion Rovers weren’t tanked on the day though. The boy who shouldn’t have been playing set up the only goal of the game. So why should Albion Rovers be punished for Clyde breaking the rules and “gaining an unfair advantage” against them. I have to agree with whoever posted it earlier, I don’t think it will matter come the end of the season as the gap will be wider anyway.

Someone mentioned that Celtic were awarded the tie against Legia Warsaw.... but actually they were awarded a 3-0 victory (just like Rovers have been) and went through on away goals.

Yeah, I believe it is ok. Derek is THE most professional and positive role model I’ve done across in the game. He is Shire through and through so he is passionate and everyone in the game knows the difficulty of going from teammate to Gaffer so perhaps someone just needed reminded of the new situation. Mountain out of a molehill for me.
