Has anyone used any of the resale type websites with success? StubHub, Ticombo etc?

If anyone has any advice re these websites then that would be appreciated. Would using a credit card help protect me for example?

Tempted as it stands and will continue to be as the games get closer!

I used ticombo for Hungary as their guarantees seemed solid enough. I looked for listings with a 12 hr or 24 hr delivery guarantee as I knew the tickets were arriving into the app so less of a time to wait, and the seller has committed themselves to delivering within 24 hrs or whatever it may be. That way if they go beyond that you can message them and ask what's going on. Will admit my seller had me on edge as he didn't message back until 23 hrs in but all ok after that!

  2. Bit the bullet and bought tickets off Ticombo for the Hungary game last night. Never use third party site so was very sceptical and had a very nervous wait after buying them last night. Guy was very reasonable and transparent and transferred them tonight straight into the app. So worth a go if anyone is desperate but prepare yourself for an anxious wait!

Even Hungary which is still showing a Few Cat 2's left?

Anyone still needing Hungary Cat 2's if so?

I'm looking for two for Hungary but still got a few mins till I can get back into the site

  4. After 3 hours or so of queuing and various attempts to cart tickets, got some for France v Poland in Dortmund - the one stadium I was desperate to go to and now means I've got tickets for four games, chuffed with that.

  5. For anyone interested, tickets for Ukraine's 3 games are on sale on the UEFA ticket portal now, just change your account to say you're a fan of Ukraine. Plenty available for all three games, managed to pick a couple up just now. Poland's games go on sale tomorrow.

  6. Got one game eventually which was Belgium vs Playoff winner in Stuttgart, didn't expect anything so fairly happy with that. Had the same issue with trying to buy tickets which were available but got there in the end.

If you're after a traditional Portuguese restaurant you can't get much more authentic than Adega Nova on Rua Francisco Barreto, just up from the railway station. Order the set menu and hope for the best. A short ferry ride takes you from the town centre to the beach. You might find somewhere a bit cheaper to stay in Olhao, a few miles East, or if you want a tourist resort Albufeira's a few miles west. Public transport's good with the train the simplest to figure out, goes along near the coast in both directions so it's easy to get to and from Faro from most places. There's a train that takes you not far from the stadium but it's still a bit of a hike as I remember it.

Faro is ok plenty of bars food shops etc and a bit less touristy as most head to Albefueira. The stadium is a complete ball ache to get to though by public transport if there's a few of you I'd try and pre hire a local minibus type taxi or ask your hotel for help.Find the maccy d,s and just up from it there is a small square is the easiest way to describe how to find bars etc

Thanks guys, we eventually booked a hotel in Quarteira right next to the beach which doesn't look too bad. As you say the stadium does look a pain in the arse to get to though! Looks like there is a lot of choice food-wise too!

    Fourth Round Draw

    Crystal Palace vs Hartlepool United

    AFC Bournemouth vs Boreham Wood

    Huddersfield Town vs Barnsley

    Peterborough United vs QPR

    Cambridge United vs Luton Town

    Southampton vs Coventry City

    Chelsea vs Plymouth Argyle

    Everton vs Brentford

Kidderminster Harriers vs West Ham United

Manchester United or Aston Villa vs Middlesbrough

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton and Hove Albion

    Liverpool vs Cardiff City

    Stoke City vs Wigan Athletic

Nottingham Forest or Arsenal vs Leicester City

    Manchester City vs Fulham

    Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Norwich City

At least a trip to Manchester will be decent, will still get done by City (first team or reserves) though.

  9. Moved down to London at the start of July and now a Fulham season ticket holder. Signs already that we're going to be one of the main threats in the championship, played some wonderful football so far this season especially at Millwall on Tuesday which should have been a 4/5-0 win. The team seem to be in a similar place to Norwich, too good for the championship but not good enough for the premiership which probably says more about the gulf in class which exists now.

Anyone get tickets today for the games at Spurs in October? I’m off to Jacksonville v Miami, Oct 17. Always looked forward to my London NFL fix, but this year? Going down there with double the anticipation and frankly, childlike excitement. Multiple shandies may well be involved.

I moved down to London recently and eyeing this up as an experience I've never had before. Just wondering if £60 for the cheapest tickets is worth it? Also which of the 2 games is best to go to and likelihood of getting a ticket in the general sale next week?

  11. Got myself Pfizered up yesterday at ravenscraig for my first dose. Only really had a sore arm this morning in terms of side effects, although I now have an overwhelming urge to buy Microsoft products. Make of that what you will. I'm 21, and I was only in the place for about half an hour at most. Delicious.

How does it work if you cant make all games? Are they ok with you letting someone else use your ticket? Im just thinking at £80 a ticket for the cheapest ticket you only need to go to 3 games (or get the cash from someone else going!) to make it worthwhile

They're introducing a resale programme this year where you can let them sell your ticket for that game at face value if you can't make it.

Just bought my girlfriend and I the 2021/22 Scotland Season Pass.

Went for the direct debit so seats are guaranteed indefinitely until I cancel.  Might not be quite the same this year, but thinking Scotland Rugby tickets are going to be really hard to get a hold of going forward (already have been past 2-3 years for the big games) given we are getting better and better.

    Can't wait.

I've had mine since 2016 and it really is decent value (mine is a bronze seat but I'm high up in one of the corners so it's a very good view). When I renewed yesterday there looked to be a lot more seats available than usual which was strange.

  14. If we can find a way to not be Irelands bitches at some point in the next couple of years this team can really go places. Definite improvements in some areas this year and even in defeat we've shown spirit and character (coming back from 14 points down v Ireland, taking the lead against Wales with 14 men) but it is still a missed opportunity.

Key takeaway from this campaign for me is getting those Twickenham and Paris monkeys off our backs and not taking our foot off the gas against Italy. Beating these teams away from home and chucking those records in the bin while being clinical and relentless against Italy are two essential pieces of a championship winning side. Our game management needs to be better on a consistent basis but overall we can be largely content with the campaign after last night. Get the crowds back in next year and we can really kick on.

Someone who knows rugby tell me why France didn't just kick it out?

Only thing I can think of is maybe the TV clock was different from the referees clock but even then doesn't excuse the bloody mental decision.

They didn't care when we asked them not to take the match updates away, They won't care now.

Their priority isn't engaging with and providing quality content based on what the clubs *actual* supporters want and never will be. All about those likes and retweets and trying to get Manchester United to acknowledge our club's existence on twitter. They seem to be a bit detached from what the club should be about and there's no evidence of any clear joined up strategy.
