They didn't care when we asked them not to take the match updates away, They won't care now.

Their priority isn't engaging with and providing quality content based on what the clubs *actual* supporters want and never will be. All about those likes and retweets and trying to get Manchester United to acknowledge our club's existence on twitter. They seem to be a bit detached from what the club should be about and there's no evidence of any clear joined up strategy.

  2. Wales were never losing this game, were they? Can't have a champion being pumped in their last game and ruining the celebrations. Absolutely ridiculous that they've had such a run of consistent luck and getting every decision. Can only imagine the differences to the entire campaign if Van Der Merwe hadn't been caught by that last-gasp tackle against them at Murrayfield. A true sliding doors moment for the tournament.

I miss Liam Donnelly cynically levelling c***s to stop counter attacks.

If anyone says "professional fouls are a horrible part of the game" then fight me. They're glorious.

My personal favourite was Hearts at home in December of the 2019/20 season on the halfway line late in the game. Seem to remember the full Hunter Stand gave him a standing ovation for it.

  4. This is a complete dead rubber but guarantee England and Ireland will still shitfest this game out. Have a go ffs, there's little to lose.

I think Townsend should go but expecting a win in France is being over optimistic.

I'm thinking more about 3 wins being the barometer in each championship rather than the France game in particular, I wouldn't expect a win in Paris either but I always think we should get minimum 2/3 wins per championship, with anything less being a failure. We should have beaten Wales so that for me+ the Ireland game are the failures of the campaign and represent why I feel we've gone backwards.

  6. For me we need to start racking up similar scores against this mob to Ireland and Wales. Yes they should be respected but if we continue to struggle against them we'll never have a chance of a title win. The real acid test for Townsend in my opinion is France next week. If we don't win that we've gone backwards from the past few years and that is worrying.

  7. Difference between the two sides not only today but in every championship is this; do you think Ireland or Wales would make that stupid error immediately from kick off after conceding points? Of course they wouldn't. And we never bloody learn.

  8. No wonder the team look like they've never seen each other before when the media team take half of them away for walks, Starbucks and drives every day. Wonder how many sessions Alexander has actually had with the full squad!

In all seriousness, minimum requirement for a team in a relegation battle is making the opposition work for their goals and points. We don't even do that so what chance do we have.

I'll tell you what I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of - individual errors happening unrealistically all too often.

I'm talking the 'keeper rolling it straight out to an opposition striker, a defender passing it to a striker, a defender leathering it off a teammate where the deflection lands conveniently for an opposition player, midfielders passing it to their opposite number and wide players literally running into an opposition player and then continuing to run away without the ball.

It's not even like this is happening a couple of times a season etc. I'd go so far as to say that the lion's share of goals I concede come from these very examples. I get that I'm managing in the National League but the players have decent stats for the level we're playing at. Not to mention, the team tactics and instructions are set up in such a way that a lot of these mistakes should be avoided anyway.

I noticed this sort of thing in last year's game but, for me at least, it's an awful lot worse this time round.

Worst one for me is my players taking a throw in straight to an opposition player who has absolutely nobody around them. Happens far too frequently.

  10. Here's what worries me most; how many Accies fans were actually concerned about a Motherwell comeback after we went 1-0 down? And how many Motherwell fans had any hope of us getting back into the game? Very low numbers I'd imagine. No fight, passion or even any evidence that our team *cared* today. Pathetic.

11 empty, gutless shitebags on the field. That is the only way to describe them.

  11. At least Robinson- like McCall- left with his dignity intact and with the best wishes and gratitude of most of the support. Best way to leave I suppose.

He gave me some of my favourite days supporting Motherwell and presided over a period of evolution from the utter clusterbourach McGhee left him, to a team that played some outstanding football in the latter half of 18/19 and first half of 19/20. He also reenergised my passion for the club when it had been completely on the wane under McGhee too. Probably one of the best managers we've had in my lifetime and he certainly leaves a healthy legacy in many ways.
