Exactly it’s a huge opportunity to get automatically promoted, win the rest of our games and hope Partick/Falkirk is a draw and we’ve done it! You’d imagine Queens Park will be at the top next year along with potentially Alloa and the loser of the play off, so next season will be tougher especially as it should be a full season. I think we’ve been fortunate it’s only 22 this season. Yeah would agree. Not sure why he signed Hanratty if he’s not going to get a chance? Probably rested Ngenwa as well for Tuesday

Correct, our target before the season was definitely not just to stay up going by the signings we made. you’d say a more reasonable target would be play offs minimal, promotion at a push! this is the thing though, these players need to be playing better regularly, not just 1 good performance out of so many. yeah, Mitch definitely needs to take them regardless if he’s missed 2. To be honest, I do and I don’t. We seem to play well and not win, and not play well but win. So it’s so hard to predict what will happen. Going by previous results I would expect us to get a result, but Partick are on form now and they know a win would almost guarantee them the title. I’m certainly expecting it to be the toughest match of the 3 v them this season

Again, absolutely agree with what you’re saying! I actually got removed from the fans group for being too critical Definitely two points dropped today. Falkirk were slightly better than last week but were definitely there for the taking today. Fyvie missed a really good chance and McIntosh missed pen. Why of all the games to give him a pen do we do it this game?

Aye it seems like it, a bit like Hearts at the moment they are making it more difficult for themselves! Yeah I think if we get promoted and go full time we should be doing all we can to get Glass back. The play offs will be very interesting, I think Montrose could be dark horses there. Funnily enough I was just checking our results this year and that Alloa one was the only win we have where we have been in a losing position! Seen highlights of it and definitely showed we were at our best there. Can’t say I’ve been wowed by any of our league performances though, we’ve really struggled to break teams down. Agreed Rory is a lot better when he is playing with Mitch! Right team, but it’s the midfield that needs to be right. Have we got a lot of creativity from there? I struggle to keep up with all the young loan signings, but I think I was impressed with Smith against Rangers. I’d love to see Blair played in Glass’ position, I think that’s his best place

The only way I can see us winning the league is if Falkirk really crumble. Both them and Partick have been below par going by what their fans are saying, especially Partick. If we don’t have Mitch, Milne or Masson for the last 3 games/play offs provided we get there, then I can’t see us going up. As you said we have no strength in depth to cover the goals they provided. it’s a shame Partick and Falkirk have not been runaway contenders as Hartley would probably have been tested more as a manager and the other fans would see that’s it’s their downfall that’s made us look better than what we are.

I’m glad you’ve said this as I’ve said something similar on the Facebook fans page. For me a missed opportunity last night having had all that possession and only 1 goal to show for it. We are relying heavily on the players from the Highland league days and not getting enough out of the numerous signings Hartley has made. Am I wrong in thinking we should be expecting more from them?

Which tells you all about Hartley, all his signings have been utter shite and yet we still rely on Mitch. Blair is completely wasted at right back as well, don’t understand his obsession to play him there

Football is a results game, and we are definitely a slower team when Fyvie is playing. Won a meaningless game against Forfar in the cup and then haven’t won since. you’re correct though, there isn’t much options, I haven’t rated any of Hartleys signings bar Glass!

Fyvie needs dropped, since he’s came back into the team we have completely lost our rhythm, there’s a reasons he’s dropped so far down in football and it’s because he offers nothing

Yeah we definitely need a glass kind of player, actually glad he wasn’t playing today. Yet to make up my mind about our midfield yet but I’d definitely have Yule there and not right back. Should hopefully see more of the other players as the season goes on, we keep signing so many players it’s hard to keep track. I did think the loan signing of Ritchie was an odd one, 2 leagues below and really young? He must be shit hot but someone I know who has seen him play didn’t give that impression. Masson I would probably have as a regular midfielder, trouble with him though is he’s either brilliant or a ghost

I’m surprised you rate Fyvie so much, last season I was complaining about Blair being used at right back as I genuinely think he is our best midfielder. Fyvie is quite solid and doesn’t lose the ball kuch, but he is too safe a lot of the time for me, side ball and back passes a lot, is prone to giving away cheap fouls when he loses a man too. I much prefer midfielders like Blair willing to drive forward and play killer passes. Don’t think we’ve missed Fyvie yet

Feel Mitch would benefit from having a second forward upfront with him. It’s almost as if he’s doing double the workout and scoring less because of it. Glass is a fantastic player, today was definitely his worst in a Cove shirt so not going to be too critical of him, he did set up the equaliser I think. We wouldn’t be criticising him too much for his lack of passing had he scored another couple of belters today. Good result though, third goal was very well worked. Apparently that was the same ref as the play off? Interesting that he made a big mistake again today leading to our goal from the corner

We were awful today, I don’t think we even deserved the second goal. Played well until 1-0 and then completely stopped. Well done to Stenny, not as bad a team as your fans were making it out to be pre match!

Is that a new rule this season? As Auchinleck v Ayr was on bbc 1 last season in the same competition
