Pish - Ryan Flynn is better than McGinn. Magennis wasn’t poor & I’m sure is more than capable of barking at other players. Durmus has shown he can compete at this level. Today wasn’t a bad result - it highlighted what we lack upfront not what we lack in midfield.

Well we see the game differently . Flynn poor. McGuinness poor, both very good players just not today. McGinn was carrying an injury in his latter games . That is now over give him the chance he can make brilliant  passes into spaces going forward.  Like it or not a draw against Hearts can be seen as good. Take away the Hearts goalkeeper out the equation we still would not have scored  in my humble opinion.

  2. We were lucky not to be two down at half time thanks to our goalie. Junior is awful no way he is a decent striker. Can't beat a man one to one. Cant win a ball when closely marked rank rotten for me. Tequila 'Obika is slightly better with his effort near the end but in no way a goal machine.  I would start Mullen everytime not a goal machine but can hold up the ball well also a nightmare for defenders. Ryan Flynn is a good player but why oh why keep passing the ball back or sideways today. It's time Stephen McGinn is given his chance. McGuinness  has too much on his shoulders he is too young to shout orders to older players ( again Stephen McGinn needed ) Kyle was poor today but he is young. Our number 11 winger he is not up to the standard needed. Starting to see real weekness in St Mirren. Great Support from Hearts there team are carrying a lot of injuries will come good when players come back. Hearts carried more threat than St Mirren. Thompson in the main stand will be intresting to hear his view in Sportscene.  Roxy Music on Sky Arts nice one.

Ah well , with Hearts leanings similar to their Glasgow cousins and that of Brother Dallas, I can see us get very little in the way of decisions tomorrow.

Hearts have not won in Paisley in their last five outings according to Div on twitter. My wife's family are Hearts fans her father always told me St Mirren were Hearts buggy team. I'm coming to the game with two Hearts fans from Rothesay so who will have the bragging rights on the trip home ?

Stewart was absolutely rotten for us when he played. It's just a case of a player kicking on. You could argue he should have been put out on loan but I don't think too many were bothered to see him go. We were all dreaming of the hatricks that brock-madsen was going to be scoring. Shankland is another one. You could say we made a mistake there but again another player who simply did not perform for us.

He was tall. He could hold up a ball. He was never bullied.  Could lay off a ball. Most importantly he was young . Like it or not he is a hit at Ross County that should tell you all you need to know. It was a huge mistake letting Ross leave. Stubbs grrrrr!

He has still not taken the bye kick,so a few hours yet methinks.

A good point for us considering we played 45 minutes with ten men in that energy sapping heat which entailed a backs to the wall performance second half.

I don't get how St.Mirren fans expected anything different as we were up against it and  have played more attacking in recent games such as Hearts away.

Finally Sam Stubbs fair put that wind up merchant Jim Goodwin in his place at the end of the game after Goodwin made comments about his Dad.Quite what it had to do with him who was Alloa Manager at the time,God knows.

Stubbs J dived near the end of the game rolled about for a few moments then got up and laughed to one of his players.  Goodwin was furious with Stubbs. Stop being a sweetie wife.

It was poor, poor stuff today. I know it's Hamilton and that you seldom get entertainment when Hamilton are involved, but St Mirren showed a complete lack of urgency all game long. What is the point of those stupid short corners? It doesn't look like there has been a practised routine or any clever organised in there so why do it? They couldn't even claim it changed the angle of the cross cause 9 times out of 10 the cross never came in. It was a complete waste of an opportunity. When we did finally stick the ball in the middle we got our two shots on target - the header that was saved by the keeper, and the follow up with the goal bound shot was cleared by Obika.

There were no quick free kicks, instead our players seemed more happy to waste time debating incidents and decisions with the referee than getting the ball into the box and firing shots at their keeper. And I'm utterly bored watching Danny Mullen desperately throwing himself to the floor and playing the dying swan role that he does every time he plays.

I'm surprised at how poor we've gotten under Jim. I thought he was a winner, but there weren't many of that squad today that seemed to have the desire to make winning happen.

I would not fire bullets Goodwin's way just yet. There is only one problem in the team that being strikers. Goodwin should get some closed door games to get the striker/ partnership right. Unfortunately I feel this will be our let down.

  8. Dont get the bad I'll to Hamilton.  They do what they do. Been in the premiership for years now. I would love that success they are  punching above their weight I think it's to be commend . When we start taking the Hamilton, Ross County, Livie more seriously we might get the results.  McAllister has dropped from. Time out for a few weeks will be enough to get him going again.   Paul McGinn is great as a sweeper to me it looked like he was being held back . Best player on the park was Kirk Broadfoot by a mile. Strode through the game  very effectively but also guiding. Broadfoot would make a great captain.

What exactly are we doing in training, playing fecking pool is my guess because it certainly isn’t finishing?

That is not good enough against 10 men, I get Accies are hard to beat but we had plenty of chances and never looked like taking any of them.

Today proved we will again be in a relegation battle.  No one looks like an out and out striker .

St Mirren were just a worse version of the side that played us in May. Our main difference between that game and today's was Stubbs. Our use of the ball was probably better after the red card, although that was probably because there weren't two strikers to hit.

We need to start winning soon, but a point away from home with 10 men is a good result.

Between that Obika song, the rage over any decision against them and this Bobby F character, St Mirren have the worst fans ITW IMO.

Like it oor not both of us will be holding up the rest of the league. Your fuckin honking also.

I'm looking forward to it having missed last week's game, but with the way the last 2 matches have played out there's a degree of nervousness there. We really can't afford to lose these type of games. We should be looking for a minimum of 4 points from our next 2 games.

Agree the has to be a win we should be set up for attacking and go for it. Use the wings and not through the middle. This will be my second game of the season now every home game thereafter.  COYS.

Flynn has been our best player since January, but I think he could do with a wee break. If he's fit I'd start Stephen the next 2 weeks.

Magennis has been outstanding so far, and I'd keep him on the right for now.

Part of our problem at the moment is our strikers are not been getting good delivery of the ball.. stephen McGinn has talent for a good pass into spaces . He is not great at breaking up play I'm sure given the chance he will show his hunger to get back. Flynn has been very good. Tomorrow for me is a must win game if we are to kick on. St Johnstone are improving Hearts will also improve at some point. It's quite obvious we need the strikers to score they in turn need decent delivery.
