You could just have said  I dont believe we are in debt. which of course you did and then rambled on in your usual manner, did you ever think that in a previous life you may well have been one of those hellfire preachers?  😎

Ha ha ha ! You got a point there cant argue with that. I'm on a soap box mate heard a few lies. Ticket fiasco, Oran sacked , These are facts that can be proved.  Money wasted can only be proved when the new accounts come out. Like you I'm a life long buddie more than 50 years. If I'm wrong will take the abuse and hold my hand up to say I was wrong . Until that point will not change my mind. I'm a buddie right or wrong on this . I want the best for the club..

Like  all of us we dont really know the bottom line until the accounts are published.  I dont believe we are in debt. I have a feeling after hearing rumblings that 2 million brought in on transfers has been mostly used up. Heard true or false Oran leaving had nothing to do with travel or moving over full time to Scotland.  Weeks later Oran went public telling Gordon to stop telling lies as to why he left the club that it had nothing to do with commuting.  If it did not stop he would take it further legally.  That's quite a statement. Of course it could be Gordon did not like the direction Oran wanted to take the club. Or a personality clash.  Can I ask you a question? If two million has been used up that was brought in by transfers would you be surprised ? If we are doing well in the league and two million has been blown when the accounts are published I think it will no big deal with fans. So no debt but a lot of money wasted maybe. Stones be thrown I hate Gordon very untrue. I want the club to be run correctly dont we all. The ticket online system is not fit for purpose. Gordon said it would be fixed for this season. You go out and tell hundreds of fans this will all be fixed for next season. It's still the same system .

The 1st line of your answer says it all.

You did not answer my question to you Tam ?

Straight forward question for the Zebra. Are you saying the club will be in debt to 2 millions or we have wasted 2 millions but not in debt ? Now think carefully before you answer.

YOU started this interaction with ME, you fucking drunken mess.

I just referenced to Tam the bud that Stu was taking the piss out of you... I didn't offer an opinion or stance on it and you started talking to me.

Oh dear you are being rattled these day's. Above you wrote - he is taking the piss out of Demented Zebra . Here is a bone go chew and calme down.

It 100% won't put it to rest. As I keep telling you, November's accounts will be for FY18 so assuming this runs to March 31st 2019, won't include any of the payoffs from the point where you have went off at the deep end - namely Kearney's departure.

My point - my entire point - is that regardless of how much money we've spent, it was clearly money that was there and has NOT put us in the financial shit that you have explicitly said we're in.

If we had £2m of extra income and have burned through that and broke even, so be it....expensive mistakes but no lasting damage, money comes and goes as they say. You are literally arguing with fresh air about that as I've never even touched on that with you as far as I remember.

Your outright proclamation that we are in financial peril as a result of spending money that was there to be spent/saved/whatever is where I have taken you to task.

Quite funny , you remind me of one of these wee yapping pooches following me round the forum if not financial then it's the abysmal online ticket system that Gordon Scott told hundreds of fans myself included that it would be fixed for the new season.  ITS NOT FIXED.

He's taking the piss out of Demented Zebra who has been going about shouting about us being in the hole to the tune of £2m since Kearney went.

Hello my good friend jumping in with both feet AGAIN. Let's see if 2 million has been blown. My humble opinion it has. You obviously think it's not. November published accounts will put this to rest.

These international fixtures (and our inability to qualify for the knockout bit of the LC) are fucking this season, though. There's more in October, too. Can we not just have some football? So stop-start.

Early kick off's also are  a pain if you dont live in Paisley the area . You just know old firm games will be 12.15.

We were missing a whole squad by the looks of things, really poor from us but Livi seem to be making teams make mistakes so who knows.

we shouldn't be as bad this weekend.

I will make my mind up as to how Saints season will go after the first quarter. Defence wise was quite happy before Kirk Broadfoot came in. Midfielde is our strong point. Strikers have yet to shine time will tell.

    Stelios?

I liked Ross Stewart, and as others have said he was a work in progress. Sums up Stubbs' reign punt a promising young player out and don't replace him.

I'm really looking forward to the game. Get a few pints in Inverness before hand then maybe one or two in the Mallard. Great day out.

Some good puds in Dingwall mate.

  12. We have only one good result against Aberdeen. The rest of the performances are irrelevant we lost. Livie could have scored 4 or 5 goals they created clear cut chances to our huff and puff very little offered up front.. The out come will be intresting if St Mirren lose then it will be another hard slog of a season the first half at Livie shows we can be utter shit. The second half showed more fight but the bottom line is we lost 3 points. Kirk Broadfoot is a welcome addition.

  13. Unfortunately Morton is destined for Championship and lower football.  You guys must know it yourselves ha ha ha !  . Sad as it would be good if you could  keep up with your BIG  team in Renfrewshire  St Mirren 1877. We gave yozu hand me downs like flood lights. stand seats, paisley Express stand rusting away behind your main stand.  We fill your buckets to stop going bust. Send you down a great centre back you will waste.  It goes on and on but hey hoo we will always look after Morton to make sure you dont go bust if it was not  for  St Mirren FC your club would be long gone. Dont forget it. Sorry we cant accommodate  your big day out anymore The Renfrewshire cup is the last thing St Mirren premiership club is thinking about. Take care of Jack Baird or we wont help you again .

Kills me when i cant give my team the support at big so called games. So expensive.Same for most fans id expect. And its gonna get harder

    Succsess comes at price.

The kind of customer I like coming into my shop. Money no object . Jokes aside got the t-shirt , mate you will wake up some day and realise I could have a good night out for this or you come under the spell of a  female .  Remember a condom is a lot cheaper than a baby.

When the prices started to sneak above the £20 mark, it then started to get beyond the value for money barrier. We are now talking about getting little to no change from £30 a some grounds. That is probably the breaking point for me.

You add in travel, food and beers and you’re getting to the thick end of £100 for an afternoon. You then add in your evening socialising and it’s becomes an expensive weekend.

£20 is the marker for me and it’s way beyond that now.
Pick and choose matches these days!

It will end up lower away gates which is a shame.  I wrote more or less the same thing as yourself at the beginning of the thread.  When it comes to spending the best part of £100 for a football day out it's time to chuck out away days.

Its quite staggering looking back. Fans across the country are paying for the league and association not being able to sell our game properly, and although its kind of forced the clubs hands, its a joke ticket prices creep up year after year.

Agree. For me it's a season ticket. Above that its 1877 club annual fee. Buddie vision just under £5 a month, SMISA buy the buds £12 a month time scale 10 years 4 years left for fan ownership.
