Jack Ross is not the type of manager to bring someone in to make up numbers don't you read interviews mate ? As for Loy yes would be good to have him in but it's not the end of the world if we don't. No doubt he will sign for us on the 4th of July when Dundee come down to play us.

My gut feeling is Dundee are assessing Loy as Dundee are not falling over themselves in the striker department. Going out and finding a replacement is no easy task for a top league side for that level. So .most probably i see Loy staying with Dundee. Don't disagree with that but doubt they spoke to his agent. I know it's hard to understand what Jack Ross has started at Saints from the outside. There are over 12 players who he has sold himself and the club to. From January he has added 2,000 fans to the gate. Locals have bought into him. Saints have no debt have money in the bank. A new stadium and academy training ground producing fantastic youngsters. All the foundations are there for success. We all just to wait and see. I'm a betting man would be happy to put on money Jack staying from what I know.

Jack Ross can drive to Dundee quicker than he can to Paisley being not far from Dunblane. As i wrote Jack is a man of his word. You are picking up Jack has feelings for St Mirren wrong Jack will not always be with Saints but feels he has a duty to put us back where we belong. Jack Ross has sold his ideas too so many players not one or two they came to St Mirren because they believe in what he said anyone who knows Jack knows he is a man of his word. Jack has also said he has a strong feeling towards St Mirren. He will stay with St Mirren you will see.

If anything this thread shows how passionate Saints are for Jack Ross to stay. I'm old enough to remember the Fergie days at St Mirren that feel good factor has only just returned and it shows with our gates risen which will grow more with Rose's brand of football. Ross will stay at St Mirren but everytime a manager position comes up Jack will always be wanted as such I would like to see us renew his contact with a rise this guy is a special one the type that don't come along often. Sorry but you really do write some nonsense at times. Have Dundee a new stadium , no. Have Dundee got a training ground academy, no. Yes Dundee are in the top league , yes they can pull a bigger crowd. However their squad needs over hauled. Ross has over hauled our squad already with just a few tweaks needed now. This still in the month of May. Add the fact players have signed simply because Jack Ross is manager in their own words. Ross is a man of principles I don't see him leaving . Saints gates have grown the public have bought into Ross and Jack knows this. Jack is not your run of the mill manager who will move at every turn he will stay I'm sure. ( hope )

Don't know the whole financial situation from the outside looking in would ask why Neil walked out after negotiations. The Americans tried to get St Mirren before Dundee but our then chairman would not sell saying they were not suitable. I'm not having a dig at Dundee here a successful Dundee have good potential for pulling good crowds.

Let's see if you can coach him away while I'm a wee bit worried Jack has been working hard building a team he wants and the players want.
