  1. Away ends not away end our chairman loves their 30 peaces of silver. The one voice our fans have on the board room SMISA ignore the feelings of the majority on this.
  2. You should write a book Poz. All clubs supporters are no diffrent though I find Div very balanced half full glass guy.
  3. Blow your funky horn my way when the accounts are published end of November . On the game we will be very organized play a counter attacking game with pace and numbers. If Rangers are to take anything they will need to be at the top of their game. Clear to see from our last two games Goodwin has every last detail coverd he does his home work very well. My predictions is both teams to score with Rangers favourites they have better players.
  4. Expect this to be simlour tactics to Hibs and Aberdeen. Break up play then attack in numbers with pace. At home can see us taking something from the game.
  5. Bobby you should go to Twitter Northampton Town their fans are very unhappy they have let him go.
  6. My understanding he has been in for a few days for Goodwin to asses him before he was offered a deal. There was a photo of him on Facebook a few days ago with him wearing Saints training gear.. In Jim we trust.
  7. Have a good one mate . I have met Gordon spent a good hour in his company nice guy. Its SMFC I care about thankfully the squad looks good. There has been lines crossed in my book with Gordon. Does that make him a bad guy ? Not at all a leader on the board room questionable for me YES.
  8. Looks like a good signing injury history but that's why we can get these guys they want to put their career back on track.
  9. You watch the large spaces in the main stand and west stand on Sunday as more of our fans stay away from these games. How many home fans were in the family stand for the Aberdeen game it's far from empty. Scott over years including when the stadium was built said one thing ends up another happens. Another example. Last play off game many fans went to the stadium for their ticket because the online ticket system is not fit for purpose. Fans stood for hours many turned away told to come back the next day. Scott came out and told the many frustrated fans the online ticket system would be fixed for next season. Here we are the system has not changed. Just one of many this will happen only for it not to. Of course Scott can do what he wants he has the majority shares . I'm very disappointed with Scott he is not a man of his word that is the bottom line. Fan ownership is still a good few years off unfortunately.
  10. You dont know a loan was paid out from the ring fenced money ?
  11. You do seem to have some kind of agenda against Gordon Scott. Why dont we throw in ring fence SMISA money. Nothing against Gordon. Want st Mirren to be run by an honest individual who loves the club.
  12. It's simple you are brought down for having certain views especially when it comes to Mr Scott. A chairman who moves season ticket holders for 6 silver coins from old firm fans. A chairman who runs to the press with untrue stories dragging our supporters through the gutter. A chairman who went to the press with lies regarding Oran. There is a pattern add in the hear say waste of clubs funds.
  13. Good for you everyone loves a,bit of humour. Mate I'm a St Mirren fan from I dont know how early. I do remember the days on a double decker bus when Scotland had no motorways. In short I care about my club have stood in old Love Street in dark day's with less than 1,000 in the ground. So I now expect St Mirren to be run within its budget. 2 million was brought in on transfers a large sum Saints wise. If it has been blown on fresh air / revolving door, managers , players then the man at the top is not right for the job. That's the bottom line. If all is fine good I then back Gordon Scott. But one thing above all is good. Gordon Scott appointed Jim Goodwin only two games in we look premiership martial the best I have seen since the early 80's. Premature? Might be but I dont think so bring it on.
  14. Well he did get free beans on his mutton pie. Give me the tannoy smile from ear to ear in the bank house. No wonder Oran was moved on . But the buck falls who ever approved it ( if true ) I could go out and buy a Porsche 911. But would it hit my investments. Of course given it would sit in the garage/ subs bench most weeks would it be wise ? I think not.
  15. When you go down to Green Road your in for a BIG SURPRISE. Though a poster above is 100% right it depends who the ref is. Not bitter but let's be honest 4 penalties was cringeworthy unless you feel you need a 12th man to beat a wee diddy club.
  16. Cashing. Ferdinand maybe £100,000 signing for his time at St Mirren. Hear say only hear say before I'm shoot down. Come on Gordon a wee bit more concentration needed.
  17. Been impressed with Jim Goodwin's tactics against Hibs and Aberdeen expect the same on Sunday. Can the buddies take something from this game I would say yes. If not Rangers will know they have been in a game. As long as the referee does not free load Rangers with penalties or send off any of our players.
  18. To be fair I was one who was banging on about a poor budget. Goodwin has done remarkably well with players brought In. Still sure a lot of the revolving door has used up all of the money brought in by transfers. If we have a good season that will take a back seat when the accounts are published. But not by Lord P.
  19. Cant wait to hear the new PA system speakers look decent will go some way to boost the atmosphere which is getting better thanks to W7. Atmosphere is what young ones like I'm sure a young fan base will grow , add in good performances from the team we could see a attendance growth.
  20. Yea I remember that was quite quite wild.. These were the dark day's.
  21. I'm sure I have the history of st Mirren on some format will need to dig it out. You get the Fergie period at which Fergie gives an interview while Man U manager.
  22. David Hay, John Coughlin we have had more than our fair share of Duds. Best managers in my life time was Alex Wright first season relegated, bounced back up the following season. Went on a run off 22 matches with only 3 defeats had us third in the league for long spells. Alex Ferguson came in when we were a right old mess. Some home games were less than 2,000 through the gates within two years we had 12,000 and more through the gates.
  23. I take it you do not realise the further Scottish teams get in Europe the more money is paid out to clubs like yours.
