    Pretty much. This two weeks is massive for Naismith - the approach to the Aberdeen game has to be bang on and he's got to get a result of some sort. I do think the effect of European games was pretty clear, but that's been compounded by some awful decision making

    Aye, said that yesterday. Easily our best spell was the 25 minutes between Spittal's miss and the red, where we actually moved the ball a lot quicker and had some decent link-up. Once they camped in we could have played for a month without scoring - those spells are where we could use someone like Lowry who might pick a pass out. He should be a bench option atm

    Think we finished that game with a 5 0 5. Unsurprisingly we didn't make many chances in the last period of the game

    I fucking hate 3 at the back, however when you've got no central midfield to speak of it gives you a foothold in the game at least. The 4-5-1/ 4-3-3 we've been playing doesn't work without McKay and Ginnelly stretching the game. You could maybe get away with Oda, if he was fully fit, Vargas and Tagawa, if he wasn't playing like an idiot, beside Shankland but Lowry wide left and Boyce and Shankland is hopeless

    Feels like a massive game for us even this early. If we don't win the already pretty bad over reaction to the season will go into overdrive. Pretty confident we can get the win if everyone keeps the head but Motherwell can definitely take advantage of the crowd if we start badly

    As with most clubs, there appears f**k all recruitment planning for managers beyond the immediate. A club going from Lennon to Ross to Maloney to Johnson appears to have little focus on what they want to have beyond winning. Us and Aberdeen are the same - poor run of results, folk want change but you have no idea what comes next beyond hoping it'll be an improvement
