    Mackay when he got his caps was a tremendous attacking midfielder. 2 footed, scored goals, creative. Went further back as he got older and was nowhere near as good but I'm no having him compared to Peter Grant ffs.

    I've seen plenty defensively minded Livvy set ups, but that was something next level. We were goof in large parts but need to get shots off quicker and pick better passes in final 3rd more often.

    I've not given up on Naismith yet tbh. Results have been pretty poor and performances not great, but there's been some improvement and he's never once been able to field a team without 4 or 5 important players missing. I get why a lot of folk have written him off, but I don't think it's beyond reason that he can turn it round. That 100% requires a victory tomorrow, because it's out home form that's killing him atm.

    If John Beaton was competent we'd have had a free kick at the other end at 1-0, rather than badly defending a corner.

    Every centre half in the country fouls a forward at about 90% of set pieces. Haring is no more stupid than anyone who does it and gets caught when the music stops, so i don't really sunscribe to slaughtering him for it, you could give that penalty 6 times a game. Not at the other end, obviously

    Frustrating because the attack from the corner comes after Beaton gives a free kick to Rangers for a shove on Vargas at the other end. Haring is stupid, but if anyone thinks we'd have got that then I've got rr magic beans. Always risky to sit so deep but tbh they never looked threatening so it's a choker to lose it
