Looking back on it, I'm less annoyed by the free kick being disallowed than i was yesterday though i still think it should count. Shankland is in there trying to exploit the rules and i think he just about gets it right.
Ultimately we had plenty chances and played ok but you deserve to lose if you sell such bad goals. If Sibbick just knocks it out for a corner we probably win the game.
Break is coming at the right time for us, shoukd hopefully have a decent number of players back from injury for the Killie game.

That free kick being disallowed is up there for the worst decision this season

Would like to congratulate the ref for not panicking when Hearts looked like forgetting the script at 2 nil

I, for one, would bravely sacrifice my ticket in the interests of a fellow Hearts man increasing his chance of a ride.
Going out on a limb here but I'm not sure shouting puce-faced insults next to a prospective partner, as Beaton hands Rangers a third penalty, is increasing anyone's chances.
Not kinkshaming of course.

Sir Craig Levein's St Johnstone side could still catch us but only on goal difference
So either a point for us in Dingwall or Saints dropping points at Celtic Park would make them the fourth entry on the listIt'll have to be a point in Dingwall, can't see them dropping points at Celtic

Reminiscent of us cheering Partick to victory to help relegate Butcher's Green and White Army

Don't mind the different patterns on the front but the yellow is horrid. I get that the template demands the wee flashes on the hip, but did they have to be so bright, so noticeable, so different from the rest of the kit? And the added "bonus" of the yellow on the shorts? Ghastly. At least the white shorts don't look quite so bad.
The away? Very Meh for me. Don't like it, don't hate it.
I'd say the white shorts make it look significantly worse. Just no relation to the rest of the design.
2 very poor kits imo, disappointing

There's a thread on follow follow about the allocation split and most people favour a 50/50 split.
That about Ireland?

I think the way handball is interpreted this season that was a penalty. It's another in a long line where it shouldn't be a penalty under any sane interpretation of the law though

If they are still within 3 or 4 points of 11th by the split, then it definitely could happen given how cutthroat it becomes.
On the other hand, they'd be just one well-timed win away from safety as well in that scenario.
They are due to travel to Perth post split. Do they also visit Dingwall?
I would love to see it but given County have 7 points from their last 14 games and 4 of them were against Livvy, i can't see it.
I suspect Aberdeen will be fired up for next week and that'll effectively be that.

Aberdeen won't go down cause County and Livvy are both even worse. Not much to cheer there i suppose

It'll be like the LC semi. Rangers fans will get all the good seats and we'll probably take about 17,000 thanks to some bollocks about security

We did the “hope Rangers go to penalties in Europe shortly before this big cup game at Hampden” thing a couple of years ago, and it was fucking dire in the end. Don’t have the energy to get my hopes up in that context again.
Routine Berrz win.
True, but we picked a number of guys who'd barely played in months and looked more tired than them. Souttar was brilliant but lots of them looked well short cause we had nowt else available.
They'll probably pump us, but we'll get it right against them one day

So the last team able to prevent hearts from group stage football is Aberdeen.
I’ll be honest, given a choice I don’t think Aberdeen would be in my top 10 teams to hand that responsibility to.
Hey, we could totally collapse in the league

We came, we saw, we played pedestrianly and won

Moriah-Welsh is a red every day of the week. Even if he'd missed him completely, it's no 1985 anymore. Diving in two footed at pace is only ending one way.
The penalty is a penalty and given he didn't even get booked for it, Obita can't really have many conplaints about ending off the park.
Daft from Hibs on all 3 cause they were causing problems and Rangers looked tired

You'd have to pay someone a fucking fortune to get them to say Neil Warnock was the best person for the job.
I would say Neil Warnock was the best person for that particular job for nothing.

Are they? They look like the fourth lowest scorers in the league to me so what metric are we basing this on?

If were prepared to have an adult conversation about it, Abada needs to take some responsibility for the situation as well.
He had a decision to join the club knowing full well the political stance of a vocal element of the fanbase had supporting Palestine in a long running conflict. That was his choice and for reasons only he will know, he accepted it.
Then when these recent atrocities happened in Israel and the occupied territories in Gaza you didn't have to look hard to see some of the more militant elements of our fanbase basically abusing him for serving in the IDF by choice etc. Unacceptable obviously, but hardly surprising. But he's picked his side, stayed silent on the war crimes being committed in his name and as some would perceive downed tools and left at the first opportunity. He may argue his priority is his family with him and family at home in Israel which is fair enough. But no doubt as time will tell, he is on the wrong side of history.
He signed for Celtic when he was a 19yo footballer. I would seriously doubt he had the first clue about the politics of your fan base.
As for 'war crimes being committed in his name' come on to f**k.

Ross County v Heart of Midlothian (16/03/24)

At the point the ball is struck the question is whether Shankland is impeding his ability to play the ball. Which i don't think he is. You can argue it and obviously they have disallowed it but i don't think Wickens is getting near it. He's already started moving over towards that side when it's hit.
We got a goal given against us in Europe which was a far bigger example of interfering with play this season and i definitely was annoyed by it tbf
