This is hilarious. Our squad last season was bottom 4 but we had the leagues best player and top scorer. We sold him and suddenly everyone expects us to still be pushing for the title. We have improved our squad but realistically we are still bottom 4.

I’m no knicker wetter but this whole episode is all a bit bizarre and smacks of desperation. Why have we let go a guy only signed 3 weeks ago? Why have we signed some Albanian with no experience of senior football who has been kicking his heels since June?

To compete against a team like DU we really need a full squad to choose from, far too many passengers today. Having Murphy and Chalmers in the squad would mean not having to rely on MacKenzie and Bryden

Aberdeen down 1-0 (as I type) and no doubt the jam tarts will be offloaded after this round too, but it is fine! As long as Rangers and Celtic can get what they need, everything is awesome.

I do think a dose of realism is required. We are behind most teams with recruitment and the new signings need time to bed in. We have lost 2 away games and to the team that will no doubt win the league. We need another few games before panicking
