  1. Just spoke to the Killie fan at work, he mentioned both first choice centre halfs went off injured at weekend. Are they going be fit for this one and what are their replacements like?
  2. Apples and oranges. Higdon got great goals in a great Motherwell team. Moult got great goals in an mediocre/poor Motherwell team.
  3. We receive at least one tonking from the Old Firm per season. Sunday will be it
  4. Didn’t think Hibs were that bad, bit toothless up front but apart from that they were ok. I think we just used the ball better in the final 3rd. Started taking my two boys this season and now that’s 3 wins out of 3. Long may that continue.
  5. Vast improvement needed from the team this weekend at a difficult venue for us. Not too hopeful to be honest.
  6. I stay 5 minutes away from Fir Park, but I'll be watching from the safety of my sofa on Saturday. Horrible atmosphere when either of them come to town, so I stay away.
  7. Celtic should win, but I don't think we're in for a shoeing.
  8. 1: Celtic 2: Rangers 3:Aberdeen 4: Motherwell 5: Hibernain 6: Hearts 7: Kilmarnock 8: St Johnstone 9: Ross County 10: Livingston 11: Hamilton 12: St Mirren
  9. £25 a ticket? I'll catch the highlights I'm afraid
  10. He scored goals against rangers and celtic, but apart from that I don’t really recall any of his other goals. Not a big loss in my opinion. Having read a few tweets, you’d think we’d just sold Louis Moult again
  11. Glad this is finally over. Not the move most Well fans or, I suspect, the player himself wanted but a club our size cannot argue with £3+ million pounds for a player that's barely had 3/4 of a season in the first team. I bear the boy no ill will in the future, but as his association with Motherwell is ending, so does my interest in him. Hopefully we can now bring in some sort of quality now or this could be just another one of those seasons. We're supposedly announcing a striker today, but that may get pushed back until all the furore over Turnbull has settled.
  12. Was coming to terms with the fact Turnbull would probably be playing for Celtic this coming season, consoling myself with at least we're getting a good fee for him, so with the news that we've accepted a better offer from Norwich and I won't have to watch David score against us this season, I can fully get on board with this transfer if it happens.. If he gets the game time he's looking for he'll blossom in the Premiership and I'm sure the thought of going to places like Anfield and the Eitihad will be a more mouth watering prospect than New Douglas or St Mirren Parks, no offence. Also, after nearly a week of bravado and general smugness from the Celtic fans in my office, they are strangely quiet this morning.............
  13. I take it we're waiting for the Turnbull saga to end before we announce any more new players? It's went pretty quiet on that front
  14. He won't be at Celtic forever, he'll be at a much bigger club before long.
  15. Love Lasley, like most Well fans. Lasley is fine as assistant, should be nowhere near main job
  16. Sorry to say I'd bin him now and get the new guy settled in before the really tough set of fixtures in November/December start. Cup runs aside, league form this season and last has been abysmal, luckily there have been worse teams in the league who's form has been worse than ours. I like Robinson, but clear he's lost the dressing room and he's ran out of ideas, not that he appears to have been the most tactical manager to begin. As to who to replace him with, someone different from usual suspects. We should have went for Valikari or Van der Gaag last time, when names like Ian McCall or Owen Coyle get mentioned it gives me the fear, but at least recently we've sort of shied away from that line of no marks, the return of McGhee aside. Ultimately I'd like Craigan to get job as I think he'd be great but he might not want it now or in the near future.
  17. Signing officially announced on website. Not the signing we’d hoped for but will give him a chance
