I don't think so. His last managerial post at Stenhousemuir was a success, they were desperate to keep him and the board tried everything, until DG police said he couldn't continue in both roles.

A few people are dismissing Davie Irons, I think he would be an ideal candidate to work alongside James Fowler, has the experience and good knowledge of the SPFL. He is also a Dumfries man.

I think Davie Irons might be a candidate. He has just ended his involvement with Carlisle United, he is a Dumfries Man and has the necessary experience. I know among some he may not be popular because of his Gretna connections, but he may just be what Queens are looking for and could work with James Fowler as the experienced head.
